I’ve been watching through y’all’s turbo series and I really appreciate the amount of detail you show, there’s not a lot of thorough ka24e build videos out there and this helps a hell of a lot
Heck yea I just picked up 1997 Ford Maverick 4x4 with this engine while here in Germany I have this sucker ripped apart right now in my garage but performance parts are damn near impossible to get here unless you pay alot for shipping or have someone ship it here to our APO
Tell ronnie to wash his hat lol, jkjk even though spent the money on rods, pistons and ARP hardware, I'm surprised he didn't go with an aftermarket camshaft, maybe for drivability or tuning? can wait to see more on this engine build 🤘🤘
could you guys list what parts you used and do a cost analysis for others trying to build their K24? learning quite abit about the K24 watching you guys work but I dont know where to start to make reliable power without rocking the stock engine
Love watching these series, I plan on building my KA soon as well, but I had a question. Did you get your head rebuilt? Or you running stock for the head
Curious I am about to start a very similar build just no where close to 500hr more like 300-350 for me but will be build to handle a lot more!! Just really curious Local losers, what is your reason your using the block from a 240sx vs a truck block?
I have a question and you could possibly help me on this... I have a 97 nissan pickup and I've redone timing and everything is right as right can get but for some reason I can't get it timed right to save my life I've restuck oil pump and distributor and I just can't get it. Please help
It's for a dual cam, so the front cover is different. They don't make MLS gaskets for single cams. If you want a MLS gasket for your single cam that's what you have to do.
@@LocalLosers520 i was having trouble at the machine shop but i figured things out! i dont have instagram just facebook i already messaged you, and you have responded! you're awesome! thankyou for your help! if i need anything i will ask you! be safe

I think I am going to have to copy your build this is what I have had in my head since I started my project
Its pretty great! Check out the dyno video! Made 400hp and 309tq
Just a heads up using ka24de 9:1 pistons drop you compression ratio to 7:1 on a sohc. The combustion chamber on the head is bigger in a sohc.
love the vid and mr poopybutthole tattoo Derek hell yeah !!!!

Love all the content. I'm currently on the hunt for a hardbody as a daily for now. But seriously when are you gonna show us a rear disc conversion?

I'm excited for y'all! Show the world what hardbodies can do!!
I’m doing this with my ka24e but I just have a 240sx hatch. why doesn’t anyone like to keep the ka’s in the 240sx.
Which way do the super tech pistons need to be pointing ?

I'm not sure what you would like me to do... lol
Is there any I can get links to internals that were ordered and stuff that was done to block and head
Local losers engines going to look awesome can't wait till you start it bro👍👍👍👊👊👊✌✌
Hey how much are you into your build and do you only have the engine built
Is everything else stock on the truck ?
Still don’t get why you cut the head gasket

The tin snips he has are weak as f**k probably rated for 22g metal lol good content I can’t wait to start my rb25 hardbody build
U guys r clowns I like it
I had to cut my head gasket also, the worst part was cutting a 100 dollar head gasket!
