He did not give you this cancer, He never would, but he has turned it around and made it a positive path for you! As you go into radiation each day, if they are anything like my Siteman Cancer Center and ask you what music you want to listen to during your 15-20 mins each day, I listened to 90s music (mostly Disney that is in my longterm memory) and worship and praise! Monday of my last week I listened to “Did you feel the mountains tremble?” By Delirious? And it started the last week of radiation for me! Each moment was spa relaxation taking you closer to the end of that staircase before you turn to another. You are going to be a better survivor because of your prayer 🙏 and your faith! Be positive through the journey and remember that even if today sucks, there’s always tomorrow! If you start to twitch or have muscle spasm, that’s ok if anything it could be a funny movement for your growing children and have them dance with you! This process will have tougher moments but you stay focused on the healing and you will heal!
Dear Brandon and Carrie While researching youtube on Glioblastoma, I came across to your first video. I share all your feelings with my utmost sympathy as my son, 19 years old, is going exactly the same experience, however by gliosarcoma which is the most aggressive variant of the glioblastoma tumors. This just happened recently 3 weeks ago and I'm still in shock, however, your strength has given me strength to carry on and provide him with the best I canto make what is remaining from his life the best days of all. I will keep on watching the rest of the videos to learn more, but the most important take away today from the first video is keeping faith, which is something we share in common.
