  • The Pakistan Institute of International Affairs held a conference on A World in Turmoil on Saturday, 18 May 2024.
    The inaugural session commenced with Dr Masuma Hasan delivering the opening speech. She is the Chairperson of the Pakistan Institute of International Affairs and has formerly served as a Pakistani Diplomat and Cabinet Secretary to the government of Pakistan.
    Shahnawaz Tariq, Justice (Retired) of the High Court of Sindh and currently holding the position of Ombudsman for the Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace in Sindh, delivered the inaugural speech.
    The keynote speech was delivered by Jalil Abbas Jilani, former Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs, a Pakistani diplomat who also served as the Foreign Secretary of Pakistan.
