It is now evident that the main aim of the students protest in Bangladesh was to seize state power under the guise of a non-discriminatory student movement through the so-called quota reform in Bangladesh. A successful revolution or popular uprising cannot be achieved by deceiving the people with false motives. Gaining control by persuading people to have a vision of a prejudice-free society is a form of deception. This movement would have been welcomed if they had made their intentions clear from the start. Above all, why should not the coordinators of students movement be held accountable for the same crime who first invited a huge number of people to join in the tricky movement even though they were anticipated that death would occur? By the student coordinators' acts of haughtiness, widespread intimidation, unjust meddling in state matters, obstruction of free expression, the startled people of Bangladesh are now perplexed. The unfortunate Bengali is now deeply regretting his decision to defy the law and install a disguised radical and ignorant dictatorial regime. Now this neo-fascist regime endorsed by Western nations is working hard every week to solidify its hold on power.

Hasina resembled her father and introduced one party rule and created Awami goondas leagues in the society , among students.In fact Awami gunda leaguers abducted Maj Dalim's wife,Sk sab took no step rather sacked Maj Dalim , who organized his friends in military and took revenge on Sk Mujib.. This time also Awami gunda league attacked on peaceful student move ment for job qota, killed asault ed even girls student ,even asulted those injured were in hospitals. So widespread protest started supported by most of our people.Gen Wakerzzaman in open discussion with army took decision of their solidarity with people. Us embassy categorically denied Hasina's false allegation as such.she also claimed another so called conspiracy for creation of a Christian state in our soil by "white Skin".all were fake claim.s. Those Hindu Muslim shown capacity and power of Hasina regime were attacked by mob.So this violance was political not religious. As pak exHC said our people love West Pakistanis.

This group of people are acting humble but often in between their arrogance show up. Did this lady say that it was right not to apologize for the massacre of Bengalis? How dare she? Why not!! what did Bengalis do to the Pakistan so that it would commit this massacre. Sub continentals are into classist mindset. This is uncivilized and intolerance which should not help these people to live together. Why didn't you guys take the Biharis who had expressed allegiance to you guys. sheikh mujib became a tyrant after becoming the president of bangladesh. he killed 40000 men who opposed him, banned all other political parties and newspapers, and he's personally responsible for the infamous famine of 1974 where more than 200 thousand people died. his sons became goons. he had no control over any of his corrupt staffs. so finally people got rid of him. if you collect old footages and news from world medias you will find whole nation celebrated the day he died, people distributed sweets and did victory march.

I am a Hindu tagged as minority. In my own motherland. There is no change of reality we inherited during participation of India. Hindus and India being treated as hostile of Bangladesh. Attacking Hindus for no reason . Fundamental fringe parties using this as opportunity to gain foothold in system. And they have been successful.

I think Bangladesh should strengthen security relations with Pakistan and China. India actually helped Bangladesh in 1971 to separate Bangladesh from Pakistan, not for independence.

There is so much negative approach by Amb Siddiky that I am stunned. This was the best time to extend a hand of brotherly solidarity, like a friend in need. But unfortunately, the Amb is obsessed with the past and that too, with unkind remarks! Please see the situation in your own land too while you distance yourself to our plight. Only one barrier between two countries is to declare official apology. I think our relationship will be normalized as well as strengthened.

We recently learned that Mujib’s 6 March people’s speech was only kept pressure to Yahia and Bhutto to talk and solve the problem, not declared independence. But 25 March Pak Army’s massacre brought us for independence, that’s why Major Zia declared independence from Chittagong radio station. On 26 March Mujib just made ready his bag to do self arrest by Pak Army commanded Yahia Khan.

We recently learned that Sheikh Mujibur Rahman mistakenly told three lakhs to three million. Someone wanted to correct him but he said, whatever comes out from mouth, I can’t change it.

I listened Mrs Masuma's important talk. She addressed many of issue about new transition period of Bangladesh. She also addressed many of Hindu minority were tortured. Actually reasin behind the scenery it was not. Some miscreant were tortured Whose were local politically motivated.

Very scholarly and thought provoking discussion by Dr. Masuma Hasan, former Ambassador Rafiquzzaman Chowdhury and former Teacher of Dhaka University Professor Sikander. I found reflecion of my own experience within speakers. As a higher civil servant I worked with Sheikh Hasina as Private Secretary-1, as Education Secretary, as well as ICT Secretary of the Government of Bangladesh. I led many reform initiative in Bangladesh. I wonder with people like this why Pakistan is struggling for Democracy and Human rights. Now I am a retired old man want to express my respect to you all. However, I would like to visit Harappa, Moenzodaro, Mehergarh and Peshwar to enrich my archaeological experience.

The way India is trying to grasp Bangladesh in all respects including geographically, economically and politically and threatening to do more specially after the fall of Hasina, Bangladesh needs to engage with Pakistan more. It will be easier if this kind of talk, seminar and symposium are organised more and more individually or including intellectuals of both the countries . Let’s make it happen. Love from Bangladesh.

The recent ( last) student revolution in Bangladesh was not lead by student union as Hasina regime did not allow official student unions since last 17 years. However, there are student faction of political parties and mostly Awami league lead student front were visible and controlling universities and colleges with very bad reputation until 04th of August. The general students took the lead of Hasina regime change with backing of opposition political parties as well support and participation from general public those do not have affiliations to any political party.

If we had these intellectuals in 1970, Pakistan would not split. Now we have these intellectuals. Please save Pakistan from further split. India is working hard to split it again, it had worked during 1971 civil war. Also, please educate your military and PPP as for them Pakistan was split. I am from Bangladesh.
