I used the tip of counting down until my jig hit the bottom. I and am so happy I learned and used this tip! It always took about 5-6 seconds for my jig to hit the bottom. Once it stopped at 2 I immediately set the hook and caught my PB! The bites were so subtle I would have never felt them. But by using the count down tip I caught about 15 fish all on a jig and it was my first time fishing a jig. Keep up the good work!

I LOVE informative videos such as this one! Even though I am an avid bass fisherman with a couple hundred local & club tournaments under my belt, I grew up fishing jigs the Susquehanna River (near Pittston, Pa) which is a completely different style of bass fishing Vs. jig fishing for largemouth bass.Even though I have almost 40 years of experience under my belt, I did in fact pick up some insight by watching this video.
What I value more than my learning a little is how this allows me to help teach my youngest son, who @ 16 yrs old is as dedicated to bass fishing as I was at his age. I wish I had this sort of information at my fingertips when I was learning the basics of bass fishing 30+ years ago.
Thanks much! I love your instructional videos!

Very solid video on jig fishing! Very informative! It took a while for me to feel comfortable throwing a jig into the middle of a submerged bush but it does work!!

Relatively new to bass fishing. I have a few jigs and have tried them with very little success. Watching this video gave me the help I need to make some changes in how I fish them. I've made a lot of mistakes. Thanks for the tips and help.

I have a bunch of jigs in my tackle bag and probably have only thrown them a few times, mainly because I have more confidence in other presentations, but after watching this I realized that I wasn't setting the hook properly, thank you for the great information as always.
