Is it an insult to suggest Calvin call up Tom Brady - ask to be put on the bench for say $1,000.00 and then get a ring this year? The man deserves one for sure.
Calvin seems like the kinda guy that wants to really earn it as a premier starting player and doing that would cheapen it. Also I don’t think he wants to go through playing anymore.
@@steve0aw fair enough, I had in mind him just riding the bench and enjoying the sun. He would be there just for the ring. Maybe a couple of snaps for the season.
Tom is done winning rings though
I'm pretty sure if he would ever return to the nfl he'd be under contract with the lions still
Firstly Tom is never done with winning rings and Johnson has been retired long enough to get into the hall of fame, so he is not under contract with anyone.
Never was a diehard NFL fan. Followed players more than teams.
But two of the most Dynamic Superstars in the history of the league- Sanders and Johnson, both retired early.
Common denominator- Detroit Lions.
Interesting to see what Stafford does in LA this upcoming season.
Imagine Rodgers being able to throw to megaton, jordy, Cobb, and Jennings, all in their primes
I remember playing against him in hs. He actually came in 2nd for ga high school athlete of the year to sean Mcvay lol
