For the people who might not understand what the game is about- from what I understand, it's about a man on welfare and gets disability benefits from the government and is shunned by people anywhere he goes because he's on welfare. That's why his mother wrote in her letter that those people don't understand those on welfare and with disabilities. The guy delivering the packages encounters the story of the killer in the game who is on welfare and gets disability. The guy from the room who doesn't said he doesn't come outside says he doesn't want to be like those people aka the people who get welfare and disability. At 38:38, the note about the priest saying "what is the weak person doing? I don't want to see it just useless without money." He is referencing someone on welfare, and that someone is the guy with the letters from mom and who lives in the building. At 40:47, when Mariko sees the guy looking at her son, she grabs him and takes him into the house because in the game, the reputation of someone being on welfare is that they are lazy. It's basically taking a stereotype and making a game from it. It's also ironic because everything that is stated in the diary letters are tasks that the player ends up doing for them. With Mariko, the player has to find the baby when in the beginning, she was scared of him seeing the baby, or at 42:20 about the cat. The letter says the player gives her a cat can, and then when he's delivering packages, he gets the cat can. I don't really understand what happened at 44:32, but basically, the delivery guy just encounters this guys stories.
I knew exactly what jumpscare he was talking about in the title... that one is probably the best Chilla's Art jumpscare by far. The sound is just so unsettling. EUGH

That last jump scare was top tier, shit made me jump even on a phone, sent chills down my whole ass body. Berlin whole vibe changed after that, my man had NO libido, no energy, no serotonin, no dopamine, no fear, no eezygang, no "my babies safe", no "the whole team eat", no "On Me", no "Oh-wah" left in his body. My boy was EXPIRED after an indie game jump scare and I was too. S tier scare - and best part about it is the build up. hey berlin, if you're taking recommendations, you should check out this horror game called it steals. you're in a maze with a monster and there's different modes. In one of them it chases you (classic), in another it HIDES from YOU while you collect orbs, and in another neither of you can see each other but items in the maze are knocked over if you (or it) run into them and alert each other to your location
Hey Berlin! Another amazing video you put out eeeuuuuggghhhh 💖. A little bit about the story/lesson of Night Delivery here ✌🏾. Most people that I’ve seen play this game have actually gotten the same ending as you. I can’t remember if there’s actually a good ending to this one, but I don’t think there is. In this game you play as the delivery man who comes to a haunted apartment complex of sorts (but you don’t know it til the end). As you deliver more packages you learn about the guy Kohei who is the main character of the story. He has some sort of disability and lives off wellfare from the Japanese government. In the notes you read it talks about how he lived in a previous complex where everyone there “made a fool of themselves over disabilities”. That’s just a way of saying that they bullied/were rude to him and had prejudices against him for having a disability. That’s why bro with the water bottle was talking about Kohei “being a burden to society” since he was on wellfare and not working (despite his want to work as indicated by a letter from his mom). Kohei moved to the complex where you are delivering packages to try to escape all that ridicule to only be met with the same treatment. As you can imagine it got him pretty down. Everyone in the new complex, including the landlord you played as in the end harbored a deep hatred for him for simply existing. No one cared about him or showed any compassion. The reason the fridge was such a big motif is because that is where Kohei ended up. The landlord killed Kohei and stuffed him in a refrigerator, and since then had been taking Kohei’s wellfare checks from the government for himself. I interpret the game end as Kohei having become an angry and vengeful spirit that ended up killing all those that hurt him when he was alive, with the landlord (his killer) at the end getting shown soaking up the reality of his last moments, terror slowly filing him as Kohei (da fridge with da legs doing the gritty) slowly makes his way to him to pay him his due. But yeah, lesson for this one is probably about how people should value those with disabilities just as they do any other person. Love you big bro!
