Is the last 3rd of this just a black screen? Which is fine, cause it's not like they're showing anything on screen anyways. This episode is Mike saying random stuff and Cameron saying that's not right and explaining how things actually work. GG watch and listen podcast, you were great while you lasted.

I'm trying so hard to keep watching, but Mike doesn't have the same energy and enthusiasm as Matt. I'm hanging in there because of Cameron though

@@IanHutchison Yep I feel you dude., exact same boat. Love Cameron and everything that he shares but it's getting harder every episode.

Ian Hutchison Same. Here for Cameron and Cameron only. Mike is just “the other guy” at this point. He exists only because a conversation requires a second person. Mike will admit he’s not an expert, yet will also explain how something works with a lot of detail and confidence, then bounce a question off of Cameron and Cameron is forced to respond, “well, that’s not right” or “that’s a weird question.” Matt at least had enthusiasm and stayed in his lane, he shared his subjective observations and offered a fun counterpoint to Cameron’s incredible knowledge and dry delivery of the technical information. Mike just keeps stepping on his toes, but only because he forces Cameron to correct him, not because he’s anywhere near as knowledgeable. Keep it up, Cameron. Crown & Caliber needs to keep you around for as long as they can, and find a new co-host for you ASAP.

Matt did alot of prep work prior to each episode so he and Cameron had intellectual watch discussions and had a good pace. Mike seems like he just wings it so it feels like the show goes on a tangent at times.

I think a lot of you guys are misunderstanding the dynamic of the show. Mike is intentionally going beyond his expertise and asking questions in an attempt to extract information from Cameron. He is acting as a conduit for the viewers so any topics we want covered and any "stupid" questions we would like asked are answered. If it were not for Mike asking these "weird" questions you would not get these interesting and incisive responses from Cameron. This is a very common interview/podcast format.
Of course he isn't a perfect host (and I was a big fan of Matt myself who, mind you, put his foot in his mouth plenty of times) but I think some of the criticisms in these comments go too far.

    Question: Anything.
    Answer: No.
Thought about sharing the question ahead of time to align on the topics, the flow of the story?

Cameron could be the one finding and showing pictures, this /illustrations would ease the pain of watching "wrong" things on the screen. Also, please do not scroll so much all the time. Also, allignment of questions beforehand (or just finding said illustrations) and some more work (as anyone would do before a presentation) in preperation beforehand would help this alot:)

Mike needs to go back and watch the first fifty hrs of this show. Then maybe he would have a clue. His squirming around trying to act like he knows anything about movements is painful. Plus Cameron looks miserable.

There is no chemistry between these two men as there was when Matt was there. The problem is this: Cameron answers questions like the engineer that he is. He is concrete. He stops and thinks, then answers slowly with facts and authority. Matt understood this and would play the student of the genius and was well prepared with a notebook. (Frequently so well prepped that Cameron had nothing to add factually, so he came across as silent). But the new gentleman is not as prepared and is not leading the discussion in a logical progression. His questions are random and not well phrased. He interjects "ya" and "ahugh" inappropriately. So his questions are hard for the engineer mind to process and answer in a factual and unemotional way. So Cameron comes across differently, unhappy. Both men are great, but together have "no chemistry ".

At the end you say something to the effect of “don’t shake an automatic watch to wind it” but what about something the the SKX that doesn’t have hand wind?

I like Mike, he is a good guy, does a good job, prepares as best he can. Its very hard to keep up with Cameron because his mind is on a different plane.

A White exactly, Cameron is a genius talking to someone who is trying to be. Painful.
