Thanks guys, I am getting ready to make a couple hopped ciders for the first time. I was curious on how long to keep the hops in the cider. Thanks for the info. Looking forward to making it.
Good follow up! So we felt it added too much bitterness on our first trial. We believe there is more potential for this idea but have not taken it further than one trial at this poing.

Great job, Colin and Steve. -Hans
Thank you for tuning in Hans!
Thanks guys for another great video!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
I'd caution using a coffee filter. Clogs very quick and can risk oxidizing. Maybe a ultra-fine mesh filter that comes in the auto-drip coffee pots.
Probably so Jordan. Thanks!
Ok to grind hops with mortar and pestle?
So, what happened when you boiled your apple juice and added hops?

The first hopped cider I made I dry hopped for 14 days and quickly realized that was way too long haha
Hi. Yes, that seems like a very long time to us but it depends on what you like :)
Hops grow on bines, not vines. One of those funny li'll things to annoy friends with. 😏
Really?! Ok - wow. You learn something every day :)
