Its so sad that stuff like Nightmare Luinor L3 or Legend Spryzen S3 pretty much bulliy every single Surge bey there is even though they are that old. Surge is by far the least amount of quality weve ever had from Hasbro and i really hope Quadrive improves and goes back to being more TT accurate (at least with the drivers)
I believe that surge is worse than everything turbo backwards and better than rise, in surge they actually brought back some of the gimmicks and they also tried to actually replicate the chassis with the discs and the driver gimmick this time is actually sorta decent with the SPM stuff, less so with the SP.
Honestly agree with most, the only thing I personally disagree with is raid at F. From my personal testing it can get some hard KO’s and even burst many Bey’s. Though I do get where you are coming from of course, along with mirage being 2nd best left layer. but I can also see why you put blazebringer over mirage too.
I don't know what in specific was done for testing in what stadium and against what there is no point of reference. I disagree if it struggles with previous ones in the past then it was a pointless evolution with a weight that makes it heavily outclassed, it is a poor left option. lol
@@zankye I personally tried it with the surge volt knock out stadium and the pro series stadium with different chips due to slopes obviously being way too weak then others along with molds of the same chip being better or worse in other releases from dual packs and stadium sets. I can see why though you feel that way considering no gimmicks on certain beys which is why I understand a lot of what you are saying especially as a hasbro fan where we want more gimmicks not just relying on pro series like many others try to defend.
As much as I am a hasbro kind of person, I do kinda agree that they need to buff some things about the beys. The whole thing where they make the beys go around in circles like an attack type, fine. If it's for the stadium, then fine, but I REALLY don't get the height raise. If there is ANY proof that the increasing the height makes the beys go faster, then fine, but otherwise, it's just a useless gimmick that isn't necessary for speedstorm. Also, hasbro NEEDS to release some new parts. They did good for Evolution, Slingshock, and even Rise had a lot of new tips and disks (despite rise having EXTERMLY nerfed disks and drivers), but even though Sparking didn't have a whole lot of disks/chassis (Which is something that even TT can improve on per Sparking beys), they should at least gave use the disks versions of all the double chassis (2S, 2A, 2B). To me, I feel like Surge had a great start, but ended up giving up on the beys and just made the beys go literally on a downward spiral. Don't get me wrong I'm probably still gonna buy these beys (mostly because of anime and stuff), it's just that they could have done better. Also, regarding the burst resistance of beys, I found a way to increase the burst resistance of the beys: Just cut off the eraser tips of a new pencil, and place them in the insides of the chip. (Only works on Surge chips though) There, now your beys won't burst that often lol.

I'm surprised that for the Rings, it's not just Tempest/Triumph at S with Mirage & Volcano/Blazebringer at C and everything else at F. Similarly, for the Drivers, I'm very shocked that S ain't Drift-SP & Mobius-SP with Revolve-SPM at A or B, Evolution-SP at C (can't forgive that lousy spring lock, unless my copy of Brave was a lemon), and literally everything else at F. Speaking of which, I just got my mitts on a couple things: Demise Satomb & Atlas Anubion two-pack and Curse Devolos. Swapped the Devolos & Satomb Chips (proper Demise Devolos & Curse Satomb), and...the green 1A ain't bad, but I need a green 1B if it exists...and if there were any repaints of Legend Spryzen with a green Merge, I'll need that as well. And although it's crap, that gray Zephyr-SP looks really good with the primarily gray Curse...just need a better Disk than Down. But, I wonder if there's a green Universe-SPM?? 🤔🤔🤔
The chips where really bad this season what went through the executives heads hey let’s make every chip suck except for spriggan and *throws dart at a bored* dragon Also, I wish triumph devolos came with the wings opened it wouldn’t do much but it would have been neat
I can hear your the pain and disappointment, I really think it was a let down with having gimmicks for like half the beys instead of all and hated the tall tips.
