Beyblade Burst Dynamite Battle 2021 COMPETITIVE TIER LIST
I don't really know what else DB has in store if Takara Tomy plans on DB 2 or a new season of products but this tier list is based on the stuff released for 2021, I go over it in detail for what works and what doesn't please keep in mind to cover EVERY little detail would take too long this is also why I did not mention things like SMALL differences with gimmicks if you use High Mode it is just to convey a general message.

I really think DB has been the most solid in terms of releases. Every single DB release has competetive usage in at least 1 or 2 of its parts. Also great Video
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think this is probably the healthiest meta we’ve had in a very long time. Just about every DB Core, Blade and Disc, can be used effectively with the right combinations, which will make battles extra fresh and exciting despite the fact that it has the least releases out of every Season at the time of writing. It’s waaaay better than Superking’s meta for sure. Most definitely a case of quality of quantity with DB, which is nice.
On a side note, which season did you think had the best meta? Which one had the worst?

This was really informative. I got back into Beyblade after 20 years without touching one, and DB has me hooked. I'm not sure if I will get every release from the line, so content like this is very helpful

The db meta is so refreshing after the unbalanced sparking meta with everything having a place in the meta. Great tier list except the fact that I don't think kick is too terrible as it does kind of work on some combos , although it definitely isn't too great either. But at the same time i guess thats true for most parts.
Sparking Meta was just zwei heilos 3a destroy'/Xtreme'/quick' with a metal chip core

26:58 the only time something has been top tier and bottom tier at the same time has been with the Valkyrie core lol (yes, I know the one in bottom tier is worn, but still you gotta admit that thats pretty funny!)
I want to comment that Venture should be on Tier A. Its spring is tighter than normal driver and the attack may be not that aggressive compare with quick' or extreme' but it will provide more stamina and this is a good thing in battle.
Doesn't make much sense for reasoning, it isn't that good of an attack driver and ideally attack drivers should be judged on how effective they actually are at doing the job of attack.
Having stamina doesn't mean anything if Xtreme and Quick do a way better job.
Maybe if it was more aggresive it be A, the gimmick can also sabotage it with a self KO.
@@datvuong2029 not really. You’d want a driver that has a high chance of KOing your opponent, which venture doesn’t do as well as other attack drivers. It’s not bad, it’s just not great for being an attack driver

That is ironic for the Valkyrie 1 core to be used for defense and stamina and not attack.
Tho if you use a dash driver on valkyrie 1 and put it on attack, it can be quite painful.
@@Alcetroz unfortunately, Valkyrie 1’s teeth are much more fragile than most cores, using dash drivers on it will absolutely tear through the teeth (found out the hard way). But since Prominence Valkyrie does come with one, it makes me think the new mold can take Dash drivers easier, but since I don’t have it I can’t say for sure.

As an owner of the bey, Zest blade is D in speed, B in Defense and A in attack.
No , A is too high for attack
Attack in zest is way too inconsistent to work
I think that DB is the season where almost (maybe all) beys are competitive of their parts and DB is a good season for releases
Would love to see an updated DB + BU Tier list for DB stadium :)

Based off this video I made guilty Longinus over metal extreme 0 and it is a tank. In my pro series stadium It just says no to any other bey being in the stadium.
Just so you know, the correct spelling is Xtreme. Doesn’t really matter ether way but I just wanted to let you know.
30:44 - idk about bursting (doesn't happen that much on dash drivers, at least for mine (which is somehow pretty wear-resistant) ) but it most definitely will do 0 damage regardless what blade you use with it, so agree on this. The only things I maybe doubt here is HH' in D tier (I think it deserves to be in C, especially taking into account there's Shot there which I don't see being considerably better than Hold in any form) and MX in S (I'd bump it down to A due to pretty limited customization)
But it’s good for one of the top tier attack combos like: Guilty Bahumut Nexus + S Metal Xtreme-0 or maybe: Guilty Bahumut Over Metal Xtreme-0
It might just be me, but I would personally put Xtend’+ in S tier, because I’ve used it on a few combos and I’ve managed to beat out combos with Metal Xtreme, Quick’ and on rare occasions even Bearing Drift.

Yeah personal in my opinion competing in multiple WBO events it is not S tier, a glaring flaw in attack vs HXT, along with high mode drift or bearing stuff outspinning it makes it stay and A, not to mention a year later it is below stuff like MNv and BDr
kick would have been better if the main tip has a spring like nothing

S gear is being sold for a very high cost where I live. Does the S gear make a big difference for Ultimate Valkyrie combinations that the price is worth it, or will Giga do equally good?
Wear the hell outta that Ultimate blade too, it hits harder that way

How does metal xtreme compare to xtreme dash? And how fast will it wear down teeth on the Longinus core?
It depends on the Xtreme but it is fine, MX is good with Phoenix and Longinus and Bahamut and it wears over a long time

Is venture supposed to have a dash spring in it cuz mine has a dash spring in it but it’s not painted. It’s just a thick strong spring like the one in other dash drivers.
It isn't Venture Dash it is tight like a dash

I think it does... he made a video on an update for metal drivers I think on his other channel I don't remember which one
The only safe metal drivers are Metal Drift & Metal Universe. There might be more safe new metal drivers now but I'm 99% sure this is it. Safe cores to use with metal drivers are Bahamut & Longinus so basically you can only use metal drivers on left spinning blades, or you can save a core for a tournament and use a metal driver on it if you're willing to sacrifice a core in order to use a metal driver while completing with a right spinning beyblade.

Honestly I don't care for universe metal, it's a hot take but I like the hasbro metal rise universe better *(I know mixing hasbro and TT parts can mess up the bet)*
No Hasbro's Speedstorm Metal is worse for its height with equalization and same spin not really
I wonder if Roar Spriggan will help activate the Roar gimmick easier
i think it would, as Spriggan isn't as tight as Bahamut, and Kick isn't a dash driver.

I might be wrong but aside from Metal Destroy having Metal spring locks. Isn't Destroy a top tier driver, I mean it has great stamina great attack and agility I see no reason why its in C tier. Just my opinion on that. Universe really depends on which stadium use, If you use the standard stadium or the Hasbro pro series stadium it just self knockouts too much but for DB stadium it works nice because of its size.
I literally explain PER driver why they aren't good or why they are good I don't get your questioning for that the reason that I just said.
It doesn't seem fair, since it feels more like you just paused and skipped to see what got what tier without hearing what I said.
If you want an even longer explanation, Metal Destroy or even Destroy' does not work well in a DB meta, even if you get it to "work" you sacrifice attack for something that doesn't work as effectively compared to rubber attack.
It simply does not work compared to previous gens.

It isnt really. I mean it can outplay heavy beys pretty well. If i remember, Savior valkyrie is an Ultimate counter for Tempest dragon, because it can tip it off hard.
