I just got me one (model year 2013, petro Vti engine). Never tried it, got it on an online auction. I am 57. These cars you can buy pretty cheap in Sweden. Suspension a bit jumpy, and driving it is not super exciting. But she does her job and spins well. I kind of like the design of the car. Not too big and not too small. Well enough room in the trunk and for passengers. My Citroen is called the "Nordic edition", whatever that is. This one is cheap to own, insure and repair, and therefor good value for money. Had a Peugeot 307 before, that I liked very much. I have a slight preference for the Peugeot. I am glad that you younger people like the Citroen. Enjoy your ride!

I have s 59 plate c4 hdi automatic and it does 800 miles on one tank on the motorway

I had citrion c4 and it died on me so it's the worst car I have ever had would not want to touch won ever again 🙃
Im 19 and i have c4 2013 desel manual and i absolutly love it, the car i had before was renualt megane 2008 which was desel aswell and it was so fuel efficent it did around 20km per 1 litter
my 'middle aged' test drove the new astra, the new focus and the new C4

Just ordered my second C4. The first one, MY 2011 was a simple 90bhp mid spec . Massive boot and miserly fuel consumption . 80K with no problems . Good build quality and serene ride quality. not really a drivers car but reasonable handling can be expected in most situations. DS4 is arguably cooler but the ride quality is ruined and wait until tou have to replace the cool 18" and 19" tyres...ouch.

over 50? shud be kidding . this car rocks, however megane III is a better option.
From a style perspective, we have to agree - but if you need the bigger boot and you like to allow your kids in the back to wind down their windows, then the C4 is the one.

You can see a DS, SM or CX in the US. There is a Citroën SM specialist somewhere in California. L.A. perhaps.. Not sure. These cars (DS, SM and CX are way more special and beautiful then the modern Citroëns...
And way more often on repair compared to later versions.
Citroen's own research brought up the over-50 demographic. They are an affluent bunch!
