Thanks for the info. I’m definitely considering this one first on my new T7!

Just picked up a T7 today. Same color too. Thanks for this video. I'll definitely check this skid plate out. Might get it powder coated in black through a buddy.

I got one that was super expensive and I hated it, sloppy welds and boxy. This looks much better. Thank you for the video.

Any plans for the linkage guard option?

Not at the moment, no. I haven’t ever ran a linkage guard on any of my bikes.

I bought my T7 used and it came with the CamelADV skid plate and it is beefy!

I have the AXP HDPE ("plastic") skid plate on my T7 for over 1.5 years. It's 8 mm thick and it has the rear mounting point as well! Besides some scratches and scuffs it's doing just fine! It's really strong and stiff AND it's only 2 kg!
But I'll say that it doesn't looks nowhere near as good
Also if you want PP plastics, Check out there R-Tech Kit!

To your point no bolting more weight crash bars and if you smash plastics, can get hole sets now about same price as crash bars that can bend subframe

That’s what I have on mine, too. $400 for some of the others is just absurd.
