What’s the thought process behind having the minute and hour hands between 5-7? I never heard of that concept. Technically you passed 12 noon so the watch is setup to change when you hit midnight. Interesting video and thanks for any feedback
I think the 5-7 range was recommended to prevent damaging the date changing mechanism. The date changing mechanism starts around 10 PM and completes around 2 AM. By setting the hands between 5-7, we ensure that the date mechanism isn't engaged or in the process of changing, which can help prevent any damage to the movement.
I did not know that I had to push the the crown inside prior to lock it back in. Instead, I kept rotating it towards noon (clockwise) in the first state and then; crown became very stiff. Now, I have learnt to set the time, however, I am worried it has damaged my watch. Do you have any thoughts?
I want to that my rolex shloud chnage it date when it reaches 12am But it doesnt At what time shloud i set that my watch change to 12am Like 6pm 7pm or etc.. It changes it date 12pm exact not 12am like 12 hours after
You set that time up for 8:30 AM. When you adjusted the date, it was 5:30AM and then you adjusted it 3hours later. Just thought I’d point it out
Good point, but the made up time was mostly for the demo, but I see what you mean

I think it's fine, just do that going forward :)
Hello, at 0:27 I was about to do this but it seems to have resistant rotating that way 20 times. Any advice?
The minor resistance should be normal. Were you able to wind it fine?
with a chronograph it is easy to set the second hand up to precise accuracy... can't i do that with datejust?
I don't think so
All dat AMZWATCH watches sssssoooooooo gorgeous!
Is it normal when you are winding like on the 20/27 it gets a little stiffer or harder ? I kind of feel like or am I crazy ? Haha
hmm, I haven't noticed that on mine
I just set my date. Somehow now it over 2 days. Can I wind it backward to today is 23 instead date 25th
you know i've heard mixed reviews on whether you can or should wind it backward...
