17:45 Your quick "That was cool" grin when watching the bucked log careen down the hill is priceless. Fun times for sure. 👍

Some more good cutting. That log took off down the hill. Those are always fun to watch. While cutting that cedar, your camera had a visitor. Lol

Just got my power wedges ..and boy are they good .... they hammer in so much better / faster and with less effort. cost almost as much to send as to buy to New Zealand but can't recommend them enough.

Great job; great variety. Have you videoed the the sawmill sawing of these large cedars? Would be interesting!! TKSLEE

The high volume of the saw is driving your audio signal into clipping, thus distorting the audio. The microphone on your cell phone makes your voice and your saw sound much more natural and thus pleasing.
    BTW, I'm an audio engineer.

I’m using the DJI wireless mic. Don’t know how to fix the distortion of the saw 🤷‍♂️

We have a native in southern Australia called Paradoxa Paradoxa that has prickles on every part of the plant, they go in, then a week later they re-emerge with the spot festered…

That Devils Club is nasty alright, but it does have some amazing uses. Devil's club is used for arthritis, cancer, wounds, fever, tuberculosis, stomach trouble, cough, colds, sore throat, diabetes, low blood sugar, and pneumonia, who knew.
It is also used for emptying the bowels and causing vomiting...yeah, I don't think I'll be trying that one any time, lol.
Cheers for the reel Bjarne, you're making those slick cuts and tricky bucks look easy man, but when yah know yah know...

Ive always been fascinated by the timber trades whether Logging or wildlife firefighting and I always like to ask the channels... Do you believe in Bigfoot? Do you have any unexplained experiences in the deep wooded areas that you work in? Thank you for sharing your knowledge with all of us flat landers! Stay safe!.

On the high fir you are wondering how to make the back cut because your 20 feet back cutup to make on a two trees that are having such a difficult time with why couldn’t you just drop a tree between the two of them use that tree that dropped between the two of them as a scaffolding ?
    Just a thought 🤔

Do you use a ripping chain I gues that would mean packing another and stopping to put it on.would it make a difference?Does the yarding crew do the ripping?

    • @lambadalou

The rigging crew will work with their own ripping crew, it’s a wild job in itself 👍
