These cryptic messages the leakers do are so annoying. Just get to the point and say your source is telling you a new Star Fox Adventures is coming. Stop pretending to be The Riddler.
When they said Classic Zelda, I thought of 2D Zelda. But when I found the hint towards Star Fox and realized it was 3D classic Zelda. Hearing classic added to that style makes me feel old
People are basing their theory that a new Zelda is not possible because one just came out. Nintendo has literally never based their Zelda releases because of that simply due to the fact that the 2D teams are different than their 3D teams. It would not be a shock to see perhaps a new Zelda 3D game built from ground up that was more linear. It wouldn't remotely take as long to make as BotW or TotK. Maybe the original Zelda game is getting the 3D treatment, or perhaps OoT is getting some type of expanded world or additional story/quests to fill in on why there's a "fallen hero" timeline, hence the "Needs a new title" comment. The Switch 2 NEEDS a great library to launch with it in order to bring the momentum from the Switch 1.
Buddy, if you told me 5 years ago that we'd get a remake of Super Mario RPG and that Metriod Dread would finally be released after being in development hell for well over a decade and a half at that point. I would have laughed in your face. I'll believe just about anything after that.
A new Star Fox adventures game was not on my bingo card for 2025. I don’t think Nintendo is ready for what the modern internet would do to a fully 4K Krystal.
If we did get another Star Fox Adventures-like game, I really hope they moreso make it a blend of Adventures and Assault. Have the game be split between Fox and Krystal, bringing her back to the series. Have Krystal's missions be more melee-combat focused dungeon crawling, like Adventures. Then have Fox's missions make use of his blasters and vehicles, akin to Assault's on-foot missions. I get that making a Zelda-like game may give those fans something to tide them over, but you also need to remember a Star Fox game needs to feel like a Star Fox game. And that involves fast-paced shooting action.
He doesn't mention it but Samus replied to someone asking if it was a remaster remake: "why limit it to a remaster rather then a new game that improves the structure". It's also important to remember that Rare had to take what was a 90% completed 64 game and squeeze in whatever Star Fox elements they can. It's like Metroid Prime but Retro was early enough in development to turn their original IP into Metroid prime. Rare did not. But now that it will be a Star Fox game from the start then yes, it would feel more like Star Fox game.
They could lean heavily in the direction of Skies of Arcadia or Kingdom Hearts to get more traditional starfox action in a new Starfox Adventures. You have your worlds with the Zelda action; and then the space lanes between them with your Starfox action, ideally with an upgradable ship / squad.
Mario Kart will probably be a launch title. It's the best selling Switch game. With the newly reworked NSO and the fact that it is very likely there will be chat and insta lobby function, finally....Nintendo will need SOMETHING to make the Switch 2 sell like hotcakes. F-Zero isn't going to cut it, although I love the series.
Personally I just want another old school feel Zelda game for Zelda, Nothing against star fox, but as you said. A star fox game should be a traditional style star fox game,
One thing I've always wanted is for Nintendo to release HD remakes of Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask but combined, with added content and a smooth transition between the two. No loading zones and a totally open world version of that Hyrule and Termina.
Great video Andres! I’m looking forward to what games will get announced this year along with Switch 2! And I’m very excited to play XCX DE when it comes out and of course seeing more of Prime 4 Beyond!
Well I mean we do get something Zelda every year so maybe there we'll be something awesome coming out for Switch 2 maybe that Ocarina of Time Remake that's been rumored.
I would love to see that, but this time the ending leads to the "Fallen Hero Timeline". Maybe a direct sequel could spring out of that, or DLC content (basically opposite of Majora's Mask).
@bk6555 or how about just 2 endings a good ending and a bad ending, and the bad ending leads to some type of cool DLC something similar to the Force Unleashed.
Retro has more than been capable of producing several different games, including DK and MK7. Wouldn't put it past them that they were working on different projects and it got put aside because of Nintendo reassigning all things Metroid back to them. I am thinking that perhaps they were likely working on a new DK Country before that happened.
I hope so much this is true! I love Star Fox Adventures so much and was always wishing for it to come back, but lost my hope more and more. But this might be it. I mean I even read many years ago that the creators of Star Fox Zero were interested in doing a sequel of Star Fox Adventures, if I remember correctly.
That would sure be interesting. I wonder if Retro would be doing the Starfox game. While they are probably very occupied by MP4 a smaller scale title wouldn't be impossible to do on the side, especially if they had done some work already in all those years where they had nothing to show for.
While I am happy that its a NEW game and not just another rehash of 64. I am a little disappointed that they choose Adventures style over Assault considering that Assault was the best of different and familiar. That said Star Fox Adventures isn't actually what nintendo would have vision an adventure style Star Fox game. Contrary to popular belief the follow up to Star Fox 64 was going to be an Adventure game with or without Dinosaur Planet. All Nintendo and Rare did with Adventures was take a 90% already complete game and changed some things and slap on star fox elements last minute. They didn't have time like Retro where they were able to easily change their early in development original IP into Metroid Prime. But now that they are making a star fox adventure game from scratch then they could properly adapt star fox elements into an adventure style format. Specifically with a blaster instead of a staff
A brand new Star Fox Adventures and F-ZERO would be much better than the "remakesters" (a combination of remake and remaster) that we seem to be getting so much of nowadays. Not that have anything against reviving past titles, of course. The Switch 2 reveal presentation better be big...
Mass Effect style mission structure Star Fox with traditional Arwing levels as a culmination of each mission on a planet. Fully exploration of the Great Fox in between missions. Could F-Zero work as a fighting game and racing game hybrid?
I really disliked Star Fox Adventures from a gameplay-standpoint, but I could get behind a sequel if Fox McCloud used his gun and not a staff. A third-person shooter with Splatoon's controls and action-game design with lots of different enemies and challenging bosses. Yes.
Im about to hype once the announcement reveal takes place. Im a big Zelda fan. I started with Zelda1 on the NES. I expect a few Zelda ports to drop from Wind waker, Ocarina 3ds, maybe Majoras mask. A year or so after launch a remake of Ocarina in 4k. 😮😮. For Metroid Samus returns port would be nice. Super Metroid remake or Fusion would be insane! This year will be hype as Switch2 arrives. Its the year of switch2! Lets goo!😮😮😮
Even after all these years, I get myself excited for whatever Nintendo might have to announce, and then later I realize how completely boring and anticlimactic theirs announcements were. I still have that kid in me that looks forward to the next big Zelda announcement at E3...
I am getting more and more convinced "Switch 2" is not releasing this year and within the next few weeks some report will come out saying next gen wont release in 2025 similar to what happened last year
It'll be out by July or Holiday 2025. Way too many leaks and rumors and the Switch library of releases is drying up, with many just saying "Coming Soon".
I think combining star Fox 64 esque gameplay and traditional Zelda esque gameplay isn’t the best idea. The gameplay styles are sooo inherently different. Idk we’ll see
😢Ya they need to make the next game a quarter of the size and fill it with content bigger isn't better it can still be more open world but gated by dungeon items like the Hookshot you could have heart pieces on top of hookshot climb able mountains still would have botw open world feel but more in line with the original 3D games
To be completely honest. I'm skeptical if Starfox or Metroid can reach Zelda fans because the 3D Metroidvania gameplay with dungeons and boss fights is only one part of the equation. The other is the mystical game world with the familiar lore, recurring tropes and the “same” pretty protagonist. I tried to give Metroid Prime a chance and it was okay but I just didn't find the world nearly as pleasing as in Zelda or other games like Ori or Prince of Persia. This future dystopia thing just doesn't do it for me even though Samus has potential as a character but you don't let her shine in a suit without facial expressions. With Starfox there's also the fact that it's not a human protagonist. To be honest, I've never played a Starfox game (to be fair). Both Nintendo and Sony have both seen the most success with human protagonists. So I think a new IP with the old Zelda formula would be the second best solution. I have high hopes for the new Monolith Game
We need a Star Fox game that is similar to No Man's Sky. That's the direction the series should go it. I hope the new Star Fox Adventures game is like No Man's Sky.
I've always been on the camp that F-Zero would be coming in 2026. A new Star Fox however I didn't have in the books until like 2026-26 since I believe Miyamoto went straight to that after Pikmin 4.
Nintendo is definitely lacking in development. They need a new console asap. If you haven’t tried a meta quest or oculus, they are pretty amazing. The titles are meh.. but that’s where the world is going. Hand held will still be better in my eyes but imagine a Zelda game, VR? Man..
@ if you’re comparing virtual boy to the VR of today, you’re almost as foolish as your statement. Virtual boy was pathetic. I had it and it was a bunch of fkkn red lines.
@rafaelmoura2103 sort of yes. And Odyssey had a small side thing in VR too. Even Smash Ultimate had a rough VR mode. Nintendo has attempted VR quite often. Even their last Arcade Mario Kart was VR centric iirc.
F-Zero and StarFox returning would be nice to see!
These cryptic messages the leakers do are so annoying. Just get to the point and say your source is telling you a new Star Fox Adventures is coming. Stop pretending to be The Riddler.
They’re probably just trying not to capture Nintendo’s attention.
@zachemmons5354 doesnt matter that's the risk you take when you become a leaker, if you get caught , tough deal with it.
@@zachemmons5354 they should try being more subtle then
Oh, let the kids have their fun
Another day, another fake rumour. For how long will we be poured by load of this BS onto our heads?😓
When they said Classic Zelda, I thought of 2D Zelda. But when I found the hint towards Star Fox and realized it was 3D classic Zelda. Hearing classic added to that style makes me feel old

These rumors are getting wilder by the second

Yeah, especially "Switch 2" ones. Very tiresome & annoying😓
Imagine a zelda like adventure with sections that have the arwing elements from Assault... this franchise has so much potential!
So true
Social media ruined the magic of certain things. I remember when you actually had to wait for something to come out to see it for the first time
A new Star Fox adventures game was not on my bingo card for 2025. I don’t think Nintendo is ready for what the modern internet would do to a fully 4K Krystal.

They just need to have a big presentation for the switch 2 and all the games already
They could lean heavily in the direction of Skies of Arcadia or Kingdom Hearts to get more traditional starfox action in a new Starfox Adventures. You have your worlds with the Zelda action; and then the space lanes between them with your Starfox action, ideally with an upgradable ship / squad.
Hope for elements from Assault as well (having various guns that the Cornerian and Venomian military use)
A star Fox adventures that's kinda like a scaled down No Man's Sky would be epic!
With huge gaps between Mario Kart it makes sense to bring back F-Zero to plug the gap
Mario Kart will probably be a launch title. It's the best selling Switch game. With the newly reworked NSO and the fact that it is very likely there will be chat and insta lobby function, finally....Nintendo will need SOMETHING to make the Switch 2 sell like hotcakes. And when I say for Zelda I mean the game, not the princess. Although I did enjoy echoes of wisdom, let’s get back to the hero in a green tunic
One thing I've always wanted is for Nintendo to release HD remakes of Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask but combined, with added content and a smooth transition between the two. No loading zones and a totally open world version of that Hyrule and Termina.
Maybe the added content can cover what led to the "Fallen Hero Timeline".
Why can’t we just get a new traditional LoZ game? All this other stuff is cool, but it doesn’t really fill the void left by BotW and TotK
I would love some type of "Fallen Hero Timeline" style story immediately after OoT.
I love that Other M commercial it's the whole reason why I badly want a Live Action Metroid Movie.
I hate it, tbh
The N64 had Mario Kart 64 at Launch so this is just History repeating itself 🎉🎉🎉
Mario kart 64 wasn't at launch.
Great video Andres! I’m looking forward to what games will get announced this year along with Switch 2! And I’m very excited to play XCX DE when it comes out and of course seeing more of Prime 4 Beyond!
I’m excited as well! Looking forward to what else is coming out this year. I’m just tired of waiting for Nintendo to announce Switch 2 already!! 😂
@ yeah hopefully soon! 🥲
Good video. Definitely lots of possibilities in 2025!
Are you gonna make a video about this Star Fox Adventures 2 game?
Perhaps!
Star Fox Adventures 2? Yes please! .... i might even stop being hyper critical of Samus Hunter if that turns out to be true. 😂
I loved Star fox adventures on GameCube. It was the first star fox game I played so I might be biased but it’s my favourite star fox game I’ve played.
Well I mean we do get something Zelda every year so maybe there we'll be something awesome coming out for Switch 2 maybe that Ocarina of Time Remake that's been rumored.

The timing is off, but Retro Studios probably would be a great fit to bring back Star Fox Adeventures. Unless MP4 had been in the can for a while. . .
There were quite a few years with no actual game by them. No one really knows what all they have been doing.
Retro has more than been capable of producing several different games, including DK and MK7. Wouldn't put it past them that they were working on different projects and it got put aside because of Nintendo reassigning all things Metroid back to them. I am thinking that perhaps they were likely working on a new DK Country before that happened.

Star Fox Assault already did that.
You're wanting StarFox Assault, a criminally underrated GameCube game that can be pretty respectably argued to be the best game in the entire series.
Im about to hype once the announcement reveal takes place. Im a big Zelda fan. I started with Zelda1 on the NES. I expect a few Zelda ports to drop from Wind waker, Ocarina 3ds, maybe Majoras mask. I hear you. The rumor is that it's like Star Fox Adventures/Old 3D Zelda.
@noctissky794 I love Starfox adventures so a remake or sequel to that game would be soo awesome
Andres "Grain of Salt" Restart 😎

Comparing classic Zelda to Metroid is funny 😂 I wouldn't advise any classic Zelda fan who hasn't played Metroid to take that advice on board.
I would be very happy to see a new Star Fox Adventure. It is my favourite Star Fox game along with 64.
I heard Samus hunter and i turned off
I loved Star Fox Adventures 😢
NINTENDO REVIVES THE STAR FOX SERIES, AND EVERYBODY’S SOUL BUT MINE IS YOURS.
Doesn’t half the Starfox fanbase hate Adventures? I’ll believe that when I see it
After Zero and Command? Na, its more of "It's good but weird"
hi AndresRestart
Star Fox Adventures sequel 😂 Sure dude, sure.
We need a Star Fox game that is similar to No Man's Sky. That's the direction the series should go it. I hope the new Star Fox Adventures game is like No Man's Sky.
As a Zelda fan, I'm interested in Zelda games. I play other games too, but I don't play pokemon or xenoblade etc
Wouldn't the Zero reference be for Starfox Zero?
It is, but they also say there is a hidden hint. So its believed its a double meaning.
We just need to see these games man 🤣
F-Zero Warriors 😤💀
Nintendo need to hurry the eff up now I’ve lost patience with all this dripfeeding leak/hype nonsense now!
I've always been on the camp that F-Zero would be coming in 2026. A new Star Fox however I didn't have in the books until like 2026-26 since I believe Miyamoto went straight to that after Pikmin 4.
Nice
Samus Hunter 😂
Star fox adventure 2 ??
Jesus Christ 🙏 ❤❤🎉🎉🎉
What a wonder it would be!
@AndresRestart that would be day one for me ! I absolutely loved the first one on GameCube back in time
What about Samus Hunter's leak about silk song. That never came true
😅yes 11:07
Samus Hunter XD
Really wish people would stop making pointless videos about rumours and make a meaningful video.
Naaaa thank you I'll stick to WW and TP 😌
This told us nothing tbh lol
If its a Star Fox game, I hoep there will be lots of arwing/landmaster parts of the game.
😂
I want a triforce heroes remake 😤💯
Nintendo is definitely lacking in development. They need a new console asap. If you haven’t tried a meta quest or oculus, they are pretty amazing. The titles are meh.. but that’s where the world is going. Hand held will still be better in my eyes but imagine a Zelda game, VR? Man..
Sounds like somebody never saw the Virtual Boy or Nintendo Labo eh?
@ if you’re comparing virtual boy to the VR of today, you’re almost as foolish as your statement. Virtual boy was pathetic. I had it and it was a bunch of fkkn red lines.
Theres a breath of the wild VR mode, if im not mistaken.
@rafaelmoura2103 sort of yes. And Odyssey had a small side thing in VR too. Even Smash Ultimate had a rough VR mode.
Nintendo has attempted VR quite often. Even their last Arcade Mario Kart was VR centric iirc.
@ yeah those releases were real winners.
