hey man, love your videos. I think there was a mix up. you played the same tracks on Suno when you were on Sultry R&B and Dream Pop section.

That would make sense! This means we have controversy, and now I need to do a rematch! :)

I've been experimenting with them for a bit and noticed you didn't turn on the instrumental switch when you wanted instrumental. It really helps keep weird noises, like what Udio gave you.
Also, Udio is rewriting your prompts to suit what it thinks you mean, it had altered it to classical, experimental, Avante-Garde, which is more understandable for what it gave you (Experimental gives some weird results). In Udio there's a Manual Mode switch in the create window that will allow your prompt to not be rewritten.

Thanks. I know about the instrumental option, I was not trying for that. I just gave the same prompt to both tools to see how they would differ. :)

    Udio/Suno, 1/0, 2/0, 2/1, 2/2, 2/3,x/x (replayed suno),2/4,3/4.
Seems like Suno has more natural sounding lyrics, whereas Udio has a strong hint of AI, except for country apparently. I'm definitely leaning towards Suno for this matchup. That being said you forgot to create the tracks on Suno for one round and reused the previous ones. Those creepy "Hrmmms" from Udio when you asked for a Piano didn't help. :P The vocals from Suno for the country had a heavy tinge of AI, where Udio sounded a lot better vocally, but the lyrics kind of sucked.

Generally speaking Udio has better audio/sonic quality where as Suno has better compositions. I’m looking forward to a new version of Suno.

Thanks Paul. I keep forgetting to add Bpms. Does this work in either program?

Bpm doesn't work as a prompt, but you can add a short snippet of your own audio at the BPM that you want at the beginning of your track and both programs will adhere to that tempo.

Still Udio. I can tell something is Suno within seconds. To me, real world sounds are far less realistic than those created in Udio. But that’s based on the genres I create. I don’t generate much synth based music like EDM and don’t do hip-hop or synth-pop.

If Suno would increase the Bit Rate on the Vocals it would be clear winner. Easy to use and Write very good Lyrics. Udio Vocal Quality sounds better but just not as good a creating overall song.

Udio is 20% better i'd say, the audio is simply just better (as u can tell when you stem split suno songs the vocals are always awful vs udio where the vocals are always good, both have good instrumentals)
