This is what me as a finn and my hubby who's american talk about all the time when we go to US!!!! Its pharmaceutical and lawer ads alllll over the place its seriously ridiculous. Hmmmm which med to start and who to sue next😂
Don't you want to endorse the wonderful ways capitalism can f*** you? Going in debt due to medical bills? Having to sue your amazon warehouse boss because they do not allow you to use the toilet for "efficiency"? You need to learn to live the american dream!
here in the netherlands when i watch for example shows on Discovery Channel (i liked stuff like mythbusters alot in the past) we get a little fade to black once every 6 min or so? (where the american commercial block has been cut out) and only at the third time we see that we get actual commercials! i cant imagine having to endure 3 commercial blocks in the time we only get 1! yikes
We disconnected from cable TV. For me, it's only RUclips, Netflix, or Britbox. I no longer watch or listen to news programs, but my husband follows several online programs from the radio and his computer. People I know who continue to watch or listen to news on TV or radio don't seem to get the connection with their increased anxiety and depression. I wish I had a fraction of the $ pharmaceutical companies spend on advertising.
Here's a good commercial that set me in motion: "Have you remembered to moisten your sturgeon? Well, aren't you a lousy little boy! Moisten your sturgeon today! Or we'll come and moisten it for you. - Brent McGill, Aquatic Wettening Society"
@@sophiamarchildon3998, since that day sturgeon moistening, and all other forms of piscine exsiccation, have been of highest priority for my part. And we pride ourselves at keeping a high standard of it at The Department. Sincerely - Mr. White

Finland allows over the counter medicines, which everyone can buy, but not those which are prescription medicines. But nevertheless, there is never side affects mentioned. Only if it is good for kids or pregnant persons.
The only comedian in the world who could be talking about anything and make you die out laughing 😂🤣😂🤣😂
Yes, here you see a talent. A real talent.

Better yet, sue some pharmaceutical companies lol!
Yeah, it sounds disgusting. It angers me just to think about it. (Never been to US anyway)
@@mikejettusa Either you are a bot or increadibly high or the least native speaker ever. In other words: what???
@@mikejettusa I don't think that's possible ..
It was kinda funny and then Ismo just swept my legs off. Got me real good. On point with the timing and punch lines as usual.
One of the best comedians ever 😂
Funny and loveable
He’s not wrong. We don’t watch regular TV. Once you get past side effects and stupid news channels, there’s very little left.
There's nothing left
Perfect commentary on our society. Brilliant and hilarious!!
I have seen him once in my life and I have never laughed as much as I did in that gig. Its even funnier live.
Ismo is the biggest stand-up talent I have seen.
“How many times you’ll repeat the thoughts of suicide bit ?”
Me: yes
🤣🤣🤣

By this estimation 12.5% of American TV is about side effects..
Wouldn't be surprised😋
Been there 4 times and just found this same
You dont need to tell it 4 times lol

Yup, Ive seen yt upload other copies of the same comment as you share it before@@penaarja
At least some Americans can still laugh att themself and the society they brought upon us...
For some nefarious reason our TV in the U.K. is going the same way. So many ads have American voices promoting shit.

😂 I was a pretty big fan of the late great comedian Bill Hicks' take on advertising, but this is a good one as well.

She may be in the advertising industry...
The marketing industry is even worse
I love Finish humor! But really: Do you need to put it so hard?

AXAAXAXAX
I think, he should write for Simpsons \m/
Germany is going in the same direction. TV is basically unwatchable. 😡
