2 things about Sonya in MK9 A) ending combos in anything but 112, military stance is not opitmal for pressure so f1 leg grab was only a good ender if it would win you the round B)Military Stance f1 is only +1 on block Also if this sounded rude I did not mean to be rude. How about Terminators running man? Idk if it’s considered a stance but it had a unblockable, and combo extender in the corner, a safe attack, and a fast cancel.
Kung Laos Stance in Mk11 is pretty amazing too. Its a meterless launcher. A multiple hitting low. Or a projectile that Krushing Blows. And cancels quick AF for pressure and mixups.
I hate stances characters, mostly stance canceling tech, it really discourages me from picking up a character, that and charge inputs... Not my thing 😔
Try Blazblue, they have great stance characters. Also Virtua Fighter V. I agree with netherealm stance characters, they feel too robotic and cancel motions make them horrible to play.
At first I thought "oooh, best stance? Like best stationary pose? That sounds fun." Totally forgetting about MK's overabundance of techy stuff. So... if you get bored and feel like making a best neutral pose video, at least one person is interested. Keep being awesome, man.

Low=Attacks that hits low/knee to feet area(Ex: Sweep attacks, d3) Mid=Attacks that hits mid/torso area(Ex: regular attacks) Save on block=Strings/attacks that can't be punished if the enemy blocks(Ex: all of Sonya's MK9 military stance attack, if the opponent blocks her attack she's completely safe to block)
Mkx military stance Sonya is amazing . I’ve got so many people by pausing after my string in military stance and going for the grab . And it just works so well
Aside from gameplay, Sub-Zeros dragon stance/style had always been iconic to his character, and in MK in general I think Lei Mei, Shujinko, Drahmin, and Chameleon had the most interesting fighting styles/stances in the entire games

I usually finish my combos with Kitana's sai especially if i am expecting the player to break away. They break away and as they are still on the ground, the sai would come down, i jump in with an air attack and follow it with either a grab or a combo
You forgot to add, Lui kang nunchuck stance...... he can do low, Overhead, and grab and cancel from the stance......and with his back 1 string which is so plus that if l go into nunchuck stance and do overhead that u cant jump, d1, backdash or anything other than block.....
Sheeva’s dragon stance also has 2 other amplifiers, an overhead that has a lot of coverage for the while screen and a low that can blast the opponent away. Personally I like Fujin’s divine wind because it makes his combo game incredibly insane with arearsonal and the amplified twister. Too bad I’m not really good at using those set ups, I tried and it was very strict.
erron blacks stance in mkx wasnt ctually safe it wasnt a true block string u could armor threw that last hit. if u had no meter then u could back dash it since back dashes in mkx had invincibility
It kinda pisses me off what they did to Sonya in mk11, she’s my fav female character but she’s so bland in mk11. Took away her military stance, poison kiss, leg grab, neck breaks, like everything that made Sonya, Sonya. Hopefully they bring back her moves 🥺😩.
Freddy's nightmare stance is pretty frustrating because its given to such a suffocating zoner. Really good for resetting neutral which was all he needed
Two quick notes about Kitana's stance: 1. If you cancel stance with good timing, it will avoid grabs (I think it's common on all - or at least few - stances in MK11) 2. @TrueUnderDawgGaming You said that you can can meter burn Kitana's teleport to throw air-fan and fall to ground immediately - to be precise you can meter burn it twice: once for fan, second one to fall - it makes the teleport safe or even plus on block (on hit it's also pretty plus, but doesn't extend combos sadly I would like that it did, because you just got rid of all of your meter. But Kitana doesn't need meter for combos so...)
Honorable mention Mk9 skarlet On top of crazy chip damage, she had an extremely fast overhead in the stance which lead to full combo on top of stance cancels into even more chip damage pressure

I dunno why, but I kinda expected to see Red Hood's "Going Ballistic" from Injustice 2. I don't remember it being that crazy, but I remember it being good enough to put lots of mixup pressure on enemies (as well as having a retreating projectile like Erron)

Negan’s Intimidation from Tekken 7. You can walk forwards, backwards, automatically parry lows, several safe on block launchers, power crushes, a mixup, counter hits and you can still block mids and highs. It’s ridiculous

2 things about Sonya in MK9
A) ending combos in anything but 112, military stance is not opitmal for pressure so f1 leg grab was only a good ender if it would win you the round
B)Military Stance f1 is only +1 on block

Kung Laos Stance in Mk11 is pretty amazing too. Its a meterless launcher. A multiple hitting low. Or a projectile that Krushing Blows. And cancels quick AF for pressure and mixups.
Tbh its not even a real pressure tool if someone knows the matchup and ive been mashed out on it but it is a good combo

I hate stances characters, mostly stance canceling tech, it really discourages me from picking up a character, that and charge inputs... Not my thing 😔
Try Blazblue, they have great stance characters. Also Virtua Fighter V. I agree with netherealm stance characters, they feel too robotic and cancel motions make them horrible to play.
At first I thought "oooh, best stance? Like best stationary pose? That sounds fun." Totally forgetting about MK's overabundance of techy stuff. So... if you get bored and feel like making a best neutral pose video, at least one person is interested. Keep being awesome, man.

I don't understand what a low, mid, save on block or any of those things mean but this videos are enjoyable 😀✋
low and mid just mean where the attack hits on the body and safe on block means the opponent cant attack you before you are able to block again
Low=Attacks that hits low/knee to feet area(Ex: Sweep attacks, d3)
Mid=Attacks that hits mid/torso area(Ex: regular attacks)
Save on block=Strings/attacks that can't be punished if the enemy blocks(Ex: all of Sonya's MK9 military stance attack, if the opponent blocks her attack she's completely safe to block)

Aside from gameplay, Sub-Zeros dragon stance/style had always been iconic to his character, and in MK in general I think Lei Mei, Shujinko, Drahmin, and Chameleon had the most interesting fighting styles/stances in the entire games

MK9 Sonya is the NRS combo queen. I hope military stance comes back in MK12 and I might play her again.
I usually finish my combos with Kitana's sai especially if i am expecting the player to break away. They break away and as they are still on the ground, the sai would come down, i jump in with an air attack and follow it with either a grab or a combo

Sheeva’s dragon stance also has 2 other amplifiers, an overhead that has a lot of coverage for the while screen and a low that can blast the opponent away. Personally I like Fujin’s divine wind because it makes his combo game incredibly insane with arearsonal and the amplified twister. Too bad I’m not really good at using those set ups, I tried and it was very strict.

erron blacks stance in mkx wasnt ctually safe it wasnt a true block string u could armor threw that last hit. if u had no meter then u could back dash it since back dashes in mkx had invincibility

Two quick notes about Kitana's stance:
1. If you cancel stance with good timing, it will avoid grabs (I think it's common on all - or at least few - stances in MK11)
2. @TrueUnderDawgGaming You said that you can can meter burn Kitana's teleport to throw air-fan and fall to ground immediately - to be precise you can meter burn it twice: once for fan, second one to fall - it makes the teleport safe or even plus on block (on hit it's also pretty plus, but doesn't extend combos sadly I would like that it did, because you just got rid of all of your meter. But Kitana doesn't need meter for combos so...)
