Hey UnderDawg, I know that you aren't going to make another mortal Kombat one but maybe in the injustice wake up, can you mention sheeva and mk11 her wake up is also really good plus it re-stands the opponent which lets you go for a mix up, in my opinion it should of been an honorable mention but give me your thoughts about it

Hey Underdawg, Demolition Sonya and Hollywood Cassie have great wakeups since they have true Invincible wakeups. For Cassie, it's her ex nut punch and for Sonya, her special move is interesting as it's only a single button but it's only available on knockdown

Cyrax's Air grab in MK9 should go there too. It was impossible to hit him while he did it or whiff punish that (it started up in 9 frames and you had 11 frames of invincibility on wakeup), and of course you cannot jump either to bait him or cross him up. So whenever you had him cornered he just got to leave the corner for free on wakeup

The best wake-up attack is grabbing a brush and putting on a little makeup
Ermacs mystic variation has a good ass wakeup too. Its armored, 100% safe, heals, and drains enemies meter. Lol its also a mid hitting midscreen move and amazing anti air. That also hits if they land behind you (if theyre close enough)
Yeah, I miss this Mileena MKX wakeup options, however her MK11 UP2 is also great

The most annoying thing about Scorps up3 is that’s you’ll always have to burn resources to punish it. His up3 is the only one in the game that is still safe if u flawless block it unless u cancel into a fb attack. (-2 becomes -7 after fb)

10:35 wait what? I swear ive flawless blocked his u3 online many times before and I've seen players like ninjakilla do it aswell?
You can flawless the first hit (and the screen will say you did) but after you block the 2nd hit you can't do a reversal and there is no gap between the first and 2nd hit

It's not the best but one of my personal favs is Shao Kahn's wake up 3 the amount of times I've clipped people who were respecting the wake up but the range of it just clips them.

As a mkx sub main i never really had to deal with these to much. Ice clone or ice shield eats most wake ups

Kenshi's EX overhead has 2 hits of armor. Consistent with most of the rest of the cast after the final 2016 patch.

Noob siabot Up2 is good aswell. You can combo off it with f221 into a db1 amp(sicle snag)

What about displacer raiden meterburn teleport? He can aim it behind you, before you or away from you, it's 1 frame and it also has armor, so even if opponent read it you can still absorb hit and punish them (basically it's meelena wakeup with armor)

One thing about MK11 Kung Lao's u3 is that, it scales WAAAYYYYYY TOOO much.... U3 into a small combo into FB does LITERALLY LESS THAN 20%

Man when it came to *range* I cant believe the kollector wasn't mentioned...I clipped a match of some guy constantly using it (cant remember the name) but holy shit, the wakeup hit me even out of the neutral
So the Kenshi overhead has 2 hits of armor, and you can time a backdash to avoid it. If you're playing against someone like Liu Kang your best option is the enhanced demon push.
You can try and time the backdash, but the Kenshi player can counter that by doing nothing on wake-up and now you’re both at neutral. So it’s still a mind game
@@TrueUnderDawgGaming that's true, if they know the matchup. But the good Kenshi's I've come across haven't really done that from what I've seen. And at least on the PC version, nobody has backdashed me when I woke up with the overhead. Not sure if this is something that has happened in tournaments.

Remember people Geras Up 2 wakeup pre patch was completely insane it was sooo fast they toned it down but in my opinion still to this day one of the best Up2s in mk11 and mortal kombat in general
