I love Enchantress for exactly the reasons you said! She's by no means a top-tier character but she's just so packed with utility moves from the hexes to her parry/mid mixup to the enhanced combo strings freezing, to the invulnerability, to being able to corner combo you at midscreen through use of her trait. Just so many *options* in one character
Except the fact that she gets zoned and spaced out by like half the cast lol! She is a nightmare to use at high level cause this game is so centered around space control tools and projectiles. I always found it weird that a witch like enchantress has no full screen presence, like she can put fear into the spectre but can't throw a projectile???
I agree man. I always liked the enchantress. Too bad they didn't have a skin of her from the suicide squad movie I liked her ancient ethereal or otherworldly look on there but the game did her justice as expected showing her gr8 powers & abilities.

The orb around Enchantress' curse orb is different per rune name (curse), it can be easier to learn the appearance of the orb rather than the name, also so you dont have to look away.
Plus you can back dash right before she pushes her arm out and this will allow you to avoid the move, so not entirely as broken or confusing as he claims to be

Well it’s not. No comp players really use it because it still has an armor gap and some characters can just yolo through it and be good (Goro comes to mind). It’s a corner tool to be flashy and have more damage. That’s really it. Also even if it’s still special cancelable, Cassie can’t really use anything to keep herself safe and would still have to deal with your 50/50 then
Honestly even as an enchantress main the only one I remember is fehu and ehwaz 😂 there’s also a broken ability she has “hypnotic spell” the rage quits I’ve gotten online is uncountable at this point
I guess if you backdash (or forward dash idk tbh) at the right time when Enchantress hexes you, you can avoid the hex cuz the invincible frames on the dash will save you

Liu Kang in MKX can special cancel out of his Windmill (e.g. FBF4 into BF3 to restand, into enhanced DB2 on block, or into enhanced BF1 to be plus, but it's a high). And in the same variation (Flame Fist), his flame fist buff cancels very fast. So fast in fact that you can combo a windmill into another windmill in the corner. You can also special cancel out of Freddy Krueger's nightmare stance in MK9, but it's not very fast.
Doesn't Kotal Kahn have a move in MKX where he stabs his own hand and he loses like 20% of his own health bar. What is the point of that move? It just makes you lose health.

Ok but the Pentacle hex is so freakin slow on startup that you will never be able to use it against most characters cause of projectiles or teleports. Super girl can literally reaction counter her for a full combo with her teleport and starfires trait will destroy her as well.
I think the only character that can cancel special moves into special moves is mkx Sub-Zero, cryomancer variation I guess, after his command grab he can cancel into other specials.
I played Freddy a bit in mk9 and this slow Falling move wasnt thaat Bad, bc He was a Zonen after all and the move gave him another Option to his zoning game. And if it Hits...you could get quite good damage of it. I didnt use it all the time, but to mixes his zone game up when the opponent was half screnn or so it was a nice thing for inbetween. And as He mentioned in his Video. After certain knock downs it was a nice place Holder or a anti wake up with any shit like wake up teleport any Kind like that
The Cassie move might be a buff of sorts. I don't think I saw it heal. Maybe its a reflector? I was totally wrong but I actually like this version better, it seems pretty fun to use. I didn't watch much of MKX as a competitive game, was Cassie or this move used in competitive play?
You forgot to mention that each curse has different effect on the target's head. Sure they are all pink so it can still be hard to decipher but it's there
