And honestly the ‘filler’ patches weren’t that bad. The return to the Xianzhou storyline was great. I loved Luka’s tournament arc. And as odd as the current patch is, there’s still fun to be had. And now we have what looks to be an amazing epilogue leading to a promising new planet.
@@ichigokage Honestly, I'm glad we're leaving Penacony, it's annoying. I loved the simplicity of Belobog and the ongoing conflict around the Xianzhou and the Hunt. Penacony was just build up after build up, politics. The ending was good but my god it was painful to read through that. The final boss being an easy gimmick boss was a dissappointment too. Phantilya was an amazing boss If I wanted space politics I would play Mass Effect, but even Mass Effect has better gameplay, no just 1 combat against a dino, a TV and a dog after 5h of dialogue. I hope they fix all that in 3.0

Yes and no, im actually still confused why they dripped those characters in the first place. To remind peeps only Duke Inferno "died" but hes similar to the Helios so he may not be fully dead. We only got a few voicelines of Swan talking to Constance. Even then none of those characters made a real appearance however they may show back up as a Pennacony return arc.
The trailer for the upcoming planet definitely looked impressive, but I'm also wondering where the "scifi" in Star Rail went. That could've easily been a trailer for Genshin Impact or another fantasy gacha of your choice.
Just when we get close to new characters they drop teasers for new ones that will come out in like 6 months from now. Can't have leaks if they do it themselves I guess.
