This can happen with any eps rack, the thing here is that people should do preventive manteniment before raining season if a boot from eps is torn, change it before water could find a way in. In the other hand this VW eps has a desing so complicated por no reason.
Hi. Super video thank you. I have a noisy steering rack from audi a7 without Dynamic steering, they have 2,9 rotations. I found a donor but this is with Dynamic steering. Can i put my steering shaft with Torque sensor and with control module to donor hausing? It will works perfectly?
Guys we have a macan s 2017 . We drove over a small water area and after that we had the error power steering fail . Is it possible to leave the car for a few days to possibly dry and have it working again?
i had the b200000 error saying that the control unit is defective after i drove through water , i can also hear noise while tuning the steering wheel. can i fix the control module or the steering rack need to be replaced , please help.
I have damaged rack due to the accident and it wont steer at all. Also control unit shows B200000 code (control unit faulty). Question is if I will change mechanical part of the rack and use my old control unit on it, am I be able to delete the current code and will it work without issues? Thanks

The problem started when I got stuck in a poor of water for 20 minutes. After a few minutes the steering got heavy and on the dashboard 3 indicators come ON' 1.steering, 2.pressure tyres 3. Traction control. We opened the control unit on the steering rack 4G0909144J. There was no Water was inside, we put put the diagnostic tool and find errors in the steering assistance but we failed to delete the errors. Help what are we missing

Its like Audi made these steering racks forgetting that it rains and cars drive through water.I doubt they even sell the bearing kit for replacement.

J500 is the designation of the rack control unit, it is not an error code

Is there a way of reseting the Errors in the system, so that when we check with the diagnostic tool no errors found 🤔
You need to flash the unit with Odis Engineering.
Because the errors they received are critical and can only be removed by flashing.
Where do I get the Odis engineering. Can you kindly quote me the requirements and what steps to do it
This should be a lawsuit such a trash product and High FAILURE RATE!!!
