This doesn't make the pit useless at all. I think it is great game design to have a thing for everyone. Not everyone will enjoy hordes, not everyone will enjoy the pit. So being able to get same mats from both is great.
exacly ppl dont understand more stuff to do is always better even if 99% dont care that 1% might enjoy that content and it deosnt hurt any1 to have that in the game thatw aht i have been saying since start of D4.. why make somee seasonal content just to scrap it next season keep it in game but some nice rewards on it it gives that 1 extra stuff for players to do if they want

True and also this was a very lucky run, I'm farming tier 6 right now and it's very rare that I get enough Hellborn buffs to make this happen. I usually just get 200 to 300 Aether
Patching a game based on a streamer's experience is a terrible idea, and Blizzard needs to stop doing it. This is going to be nerfed into the ground now, thanks, Rob.
Im not even GA items and I can do t7. With 12 MW items. Altough I got all uber uniques needed. So farming t7 helps making money and rerolling 3x mw crit
I had 0 mythic uniques and no GA affixes on the required items for a lightning spear sorc. I only had 8/12 masterworked gear and not all the "correct" rolls. I could do tier 7 ... And after it was 12/12 I could to any tormented boss in 10 seconds or so. Tier 8 was no issues, but I got a Tyrael & shako soon. It just goes faster, but it is doable without any mytic uniques and it does not take that long. But the mythic uniques make even farming t8 infernal hordes a joke. It is not even challenging
Yeah at least post this on friday night so some of us can have a weekend to reach end game. hopefully no patches yet for awhile. or its meant to be and it will be easier now to farm.
I actually like that they are separating single target content and aoe content. It encourages build diversity by providing progression paths that reward different playstyles
The hellborn is definitely the way to go but also the one where u make events happen 50% faster is the way to go as well those moxed together equals a ton of aether Ive gotten 700+ before
The one way I found to truly enjoy this game is stop watching the content creators and just explore the game and builds for yourself. This game is designed well enough that’s it’s not too punishing to create your own build and do pretty decent and enjoy your game play.
ngl ive actually been doing most of my levelling after hitting the mid 50s inside the infernal hordes, maybe some periodic side stuff usually for some whisper caches and such but otherwise, almost pure horde runs for my lvling

Just got a Shaco with CDR Greater affix today, on Maxroll they dont use it on Rogue or Barb. Are these Maxroll builds trolling or how can shaco be useless?
nah dude, i got hyped about necro, started one, got to t4 max, u either need 3 ubers to play the only OP build which is Bone Spirit or you just reroll other class, like Sorc or Barb. I tried all other specs, blood nova, shadow damage blight/sever, minion necro etc. your just too squishy or you dont kill mobs fast enough so even at t7 u will get 300ish aether max, u need an AoE maxxed out build that just clears screen instantly w/o the build-up.

I'm a fan of d2, d4 is going in a good direction but still has a lot to go. Those perfect gear are not meant for people who play 3h a week, that s why it s called rare!

The devs need to make two sep patches. One for streamers who play 14 hours a day and reg consumers(you know us, the ones that actually spend money on the game, while streamers get everything for free) who have to work and only play a few hours a day. Naw nerf it.

They need to buff the rewards in the pit. I prefer to do the pit. I like the pits. They also need to buff rewards for nightmare dungeons. It's bad when I only got 2 items from running a tier 80+. And I like nightmare dungeons. Except that they made them to easy.
How are people lvl 100 already, damn. Havent played much D4 (hated it s1, and barely touched it since), is leveling kinda quick now? How many hours would it take for someone who plays other RPGs like PoE (aka not a noob)?
Depends on class, experience, dedication, build and gear - But it's easier than ever to get to Lv. 100 in Season 5. -New player with no skills or knowledge completing the entire campaign and some side quests = 70+ hours. -New player = 50 hours -Casual = 35 hours -Decent player with knowledge = 25 hours -Good player with a few 100 characters = 15 hours -Competitive professional player with knowledge = 8-10 hours -Rob (perfect knowledge, build + party) = 5 hours (It took me ~12 hours to reach level 100 solo. - Infernal-Hordes are very helpful and you can level up quickly there.)
Like thousands of people already spamming t7. I noticed too many casuals are watching rob. Even with few hours to spend. You should already be doing uber bosses and farming those uniques for t7. Less people are searching for t5 party than t7 now. Season is really friendly for newbies

Uber farming, Highet Pit Level, PvP, and showing off. I’m sure even at level 7 it the hordes we will still have a lot of room for improvement.

Also infernal hoard tier 2 is the fastest way to level. Ive powered leveled 10 people from 1 to 60 in 30 minutes with hoards lol the EXP is ridiculous

So you need top tier build to do to seven assuming you've already upgraded your gear today
It now just means you probably won’t do pits for farming. Pits will is now for pushing, a status symbol for how good your gear is.

I definitely can’t solo tier 7 I tried 5 and failed with my WW Barb. So I’m stuck on tier 4 max with your unique build with tusk helm and horragath.

Because there should always be MULTIPLE ways to farm the things you need… they did this with almost everything except Glyph XP so far…
