I watched a few more videos and noticed maybe three others set up like this in the U.S.A. but other types of vehicles have them set the other way, which is how my New Zealand assembled D21 is. I also have an imported JDM which has them with the boot on top of the lug and the nut at the bottom. I wonder if it was a U.S. assembly practice to set them up the way you have yours.
@@curtfox91 dang right don't want waste Ur time forking around with a torque wrench on castle nut's or any nut that's pinned by any style of locking nut general rule of thumb is using the appropriate size of tool for bolts diameter of tie rod etc and make sure it's FT! Forking tight then back off to line up holes for pin and ur ACE you know its tight and it physically can't rattle loose.

whats the part that the outer tie rod connects to? spindle? mechanic says the taper is messed up on mine and i can't find the part online..

what are the torque specs for the castle nuts
You have to Look it up in a Manual but it should be as tight as possible. You dont want to half ass those.
