Anyone out there have this suit? What do you love about it? If you are planning to get one from Dainese, you won’t be disappointed! 💯
After trying on a RST Podium air bag suit which hung on me, I decided to buy the Laguna Seca 4. The only problem is it doesn't have an airbag. To solve that problem I wear a air bag vest .. It might not look as cool but does the job and fits over the suit well
Yes if you want the airbag on the inside of the Dainese suit, you have to get the D Air system. I believe the suit a step up from the Laguna Seca has it.
I wouldn't have room for it as it quite tight around the stomach (middle age spread lol
Have you tried it with a back protector? All Dainese jackets are compatible with their “pro armor” back protectors, meaning you can insert the bare protector inside the seam of the jacket, but it may not be the case for their suits (in fact I think it's not) so you need to get a version with a belt and braces, which may be better safety-wise but I'm afraid it's uncomfortable and inconvenient.
I did not try it with the armor and I wish I did. I recently got the wave armor and it was really tight inside my suit. I returned it and will be purchasing the pro armor which is slimmer.
Love the rewiew. But the suit is suppose to be skin tight. Like uncomfortable tight. It will stretch to fit you. I would recommend a smaller size. I lesrned this direcly from Dainese sales person.
Thanks! No that’s not what I was told and have read. You want it to be a little baggy so it’s tight on the bike. Then you also need room for back and or chest protector. There is a “race fit and a comfort fit”. You are probably referring to the race fit.
can you list all the rubber inserts and plastic pads in this suit? I have little protection in my MBW suit. In this suit too? To realize full protection, you need to wear under the suit: "armored top", "armored pants"
Every pad in the suit is hard. No back protection as you have to provide that separately. I use a Knox back pad. Pads in the suit include the shoulders, elbows/forearms, knee/shins. You may also want to wear hip pads if that is something you choose to wear as the suit does not come with it.
@@itsmeericb Thank you. I imagined it. I do not understand why all overalls do not have, by default, side protection of the pelvis. In my opinion, this is very necessary for lowside
Yo man I just picked up the same exact suit. I plan to get the Axial D1 in boots as well. Quick question though, while standing straight up off the bike, at the legs it’s like wearing high water pants, is that more or less where you want it? I see yours is kinda the same
Nice! How tall are you? I’m 6’1 and all of the suits I’ve tried seem like high waters. If I go up higher in size then it will be too baggy and you don’t want that.
@@itsmeericb I went with a size 38US. I’m 5’8” about 155lbs. It’s super tight when standing up, it’s fatiguing wearing it standing up. It’s a snug fit while on the bike. Is that similar to your fit with your suit?
I want a KTM body kit like that for my Ducati v4s😛
😂
Dainese 💯ahead of the game 👌🏻
They make some really nice gear! 💪
@@itsmeericb best in the game brother 👌🏻
Loved the review, have one of these coming. I love my axials and the look of having the boot inside the suit is just so sexy imo.
Thanks! Yes the look of the axial under the suit is 👌
why didnt you get a custom fit? I think that would have been the best option... because you are tall and slim standard wouldn't work... the suit looks big on you.
Because I wasn’t looking to do a custom fitted suit lol If anything it’s too short on my arms.
would want a snug but not tight fit not a baggy rear seat if at all possible
Yes. Don’t want the rear to be too tight as it will be too tight and pull on your shoulders while riding. Should be comfortable while on the bike in a riding position.
would this be possible or it just wishful thinking@@itsmeericb
have my doubts about ever getting the suit after being ripped off by 2 stores on trying to get this and NO REFUND either NO COMMENT from the 2 stores ripped from and Dainese themselves refuse any comments about this also
😮
