I heard it demoed on That Pedal Show. It's a Beast guitar, untamed for 2020 ears.

I thought exactly the same thing... the adjusted inflation rate is 8.62 for 1 dollar in 1961; but as you pointed out, I doubt very much Norma would only adjust the price to match today's dollar value.
This guitar is about 30K at the very minimum. But it is collector grade, so all bets are off.
I don't want to call NRG, because I don't want to know.

Eric, like all stop blue said,maybe in your state or suburb that's the case but it's certainly not nation or worldwide,I live in Australia and there's plenty of people who have made a fortune from property and other things in a prosperous country and $25k,$80k or more is just like buying a new car or doing some home improvements but instead they buy a Guitar or Two,there's thousands out there,I'm not one but I see it a lot as these people are my clients in business and it's where I get my income from.If they hurt I hurt,luckily it's all good.First thing get a new President who can stimulate your economy so everyone earns more and has a better standard of living.It ain't great in a lot of the U.S sadly

Take note, these guitars are about as vintage as it possibly gets, and not a single one looks like the heavy "relic" style that Fender is putting out. Fender turns your guitar into a beat up looking piece of junk and charges you and extra $4,000 for it, and idiots out their pay for it.

@@angusseletto1511 So true. I'd be a bit miffed about not getting a return call but I'd always give a second try just in case. Just last week I was listening to a VM left after work hours and I could not make out all the digits of the call-back number.

@@angusseletto1511 I'm serious man. I knew a barber who had a shop who was well into his 80's in Lackawanna, NY. I had to wake him up once because he was napping. I have the highest level of respect for this old dude. Why? Because no matter what, he is going to keep working. Norm is a treasure to the people who know him and he is not allowed to retire so he better make plans to keep that old body in good shape and rested. Millions of us who don't know him feel like we do, I am 100% certain that Norm is a super cool guy. There is no doubt in my mind.

And I used to work for a real estate company that employed construction workers for rehab. Those guys would labor for a couple hours straight wearing masks, and when they took the masks off it'd be for a break to smoke cigarettes!
