I wanted to recreate this meme in lego.
I know I am not the first person to do this, but I wanted to put my spin on it with Lego city HEY! and testing out mouth animations in the process.
Mouth animations are tough but this was a good short video with mouth animation references to start from and I think it turned out good.
I also tried to get the shots as similar as possible in Lego
This video is a testament to needing to set minifigures back away from the camera regardless of how close I want the shot to be (I can punch in in the edit)
I know most of the shots are out of focus, but Im still glad I made this video as I've thought about making it for a while now.
The first shot looks great, but this video may serve as a test to move the minifigures back to get better focus.
This took me 2 afternoons to make and 2 afternoons to edit

Hey People, Iron Here.
I think of this video as a learning experience. I made this to test mouth animation and make a TF2 animation. I did both, but the video quality looks like a potato and the mouth animation is too fast. Yes, I should cut myself a break but I am not proud of this video. That being said, I learned TWO VERY IMPORTANT LESSONS, and those are: 1. Move to Camera Back so it can focus, 2. Fail Faster:
Move Camera back is self explanatory. Fail Faster does not mean you should aim to fail at everything. No. Fail Faster means if you are going to mess up, do it early when things don’t matter as much and LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES. This applies to life as a whole.
With this Monologue aside I’m glad I made the “I teleported bread in lego city” animation and I am glad I learned from it.
