I see many criticizing the car form but are comparing it to the irl car model. For what it is, i think the cartoonish low-detail look works fine. Since that really is what its intended to be
I honestly like the car form more than the robot form, but that's kinda true for the actual transformer toys as well(I love the classic VW beetles). Bumblebee robot form never looked good to me in toy form until the bayformers movies.
Thanks JANG! This was a big help in me getting my Bumblebee transformed back into his Beetle mode. He's definitely more complicated than Optimus Prime!
I feel like I've been overly critical of this set initially. I think I've come around seeing it transform back and forth a few times. I think it's good for what it is and genuinely looks fun. The car mode has a nice front, I think that's my favorite bit, and I don't even mind the partsforming bit all that much, I think it's fairly inoffensive in the grand scheme of things and even though the robot mode is fairly static, I think that came as a compromise of making it safer for being displayed. And even though it's still a bit wobbly or not perfectly balanced as covered in the full review, I really think the robot looks nice on the shelf. 😅 Thank you for all the videos!
The way this copy pasta is spreading is misleading. BOTH were designed by full-fledged LEGO designers. That one happened to have Hasbro in their pre-LEGO work history doesn't change that one bit. Most experienced designers & engineers have a lot more than one entry in their CV. I do find it ironic, though, that the set designed by the LEGO designer who never made an official Transformer has a more sophisticated transformation.
This would be the most awkward moment when someone comes over and wanna see the transformation. “This thing could transform?” “Yea dude, just give me 5 minutes.”

If RUclips had a reverse functiion, you could watch a car to robot rtansformation
I love that the gun can be put on the back like that, it’s so goofy!
I'd love a smaller version of this that would fit in with the speed champion cars so I could just have a transformer in my city disguised as a car
With all the joints needed to transform, would that be possible?
If I buy that set, I’ll definitely need this video on how to put it together

Did good job on transformation great review jang 👍
The ground clearance is surprising when you see it from the side.
The car mode looks super nice!
Very cool!!!
Wow

It would be an instant get for me, if the car would be nicer
I watched on 2x speed
I'm a little sad about loose sections like the windshield assembly there. Also, the rear of a VW Beetle is not the trunk, it's the engine compartment.
Here’s a fun fact: Optimus Prime was designed by a former Hasbro Transformer designer, while this was made by a full Lego designer
