@@funnyanyway3889 are the engineers basically just floating bubble shields? I don't know if this is possible, but it would be cool if they used the regeneration ability for ally units nearby but power drain for enemies. Any brutes nearby would be healed but it would be a riskier target for the player since they may have to get close to kill them and end up losing shields. This mod looks beautiful and really reminds me of Bungie's scrapped global battles concept (I think that's what it was called). Keep up the good work!!
@@anunexpectede5566 Thank you very much! There is two variants for my engineers. One has the bubble shield and blocks shots and the other heals all nearby units periodically. Unfortunately with the tools you can't set it to heal certain units and not others. I could possibly add a periodic health drain function but I'm almost sure that would also effect everyone and I wouldn't be able to get it to effect just enemy units. I could find work arounds but they would probably would end up being a little strange and not worth it unfortunately.

Halo reach elites are the best, by far Not only are they the only truly faithful adaptation of the original elites, but they are the most formidable enemy in halo without just being a damage dps sponge

I really like what I'm seeing here. I've been waiting for another campaign overhaul that gives Elites more focus. It's pretty much just Ruby's on the market right now, but I have a number of other issues with that one.
It's a lot of layered sounds from a werewolf story he wrote and I remember he mentioned he used a lot of different animal sounds for the howl sound effect. I'm certain thats some of what you're hearing. I can hear that in the intro, and some Half-Life sounds, and the background is a desert he created in FarCry for a radio station in a story. He may never actually explain it though, bit mysterious
3 lines running parallel, then 2 distort with the middle remaining solid. His content has been described as "unparalleled" so he made it into an intro in the creepiest yet most creative way possible.
You can buy two of the next gen consoles over time or skip the gen entirely and get a decent modern pc to get the best of both worlds. Was definitely worth it.
I INSIST. THERE SHOULD BE A REMAKE of Halo 3. There should be a reconstruction identically of these maps adding more scale to these battlefields. This must happen in Halo 1 and 2.
And yet the halo 3 brutes are terrible when compared to elites. How do you explain the brutes in Halo 2 being better than in Halo 3 when you fought both in h2? He's already covered this anyways, so you're not providing anything new
@@philippierce3198 Idk, I think the H3 Brutes are weaker than CE or 2 Elites, but they're far superior to any elites that came in later on in the series. They're a bit too slow for my liking, but they're far from bad
Do you have the most current version of MCC and are you playing with the most current version of the mod? Also make sure to play with anti cheat disabled.
I also think they should have kept the elites as always without any loyalist, with more brute types even brutes using energy swords. I mean why would elites continue to serve the covenant after what truth did.

If you're a hard sweat in the h3 campaign I guess this would seem tedious... lol From the lack him going for the legs other than showing off the halo reach grenade launcher, I'd say he could have ended it much quicker. This part of the level allows for the player to play how they want though..
its amazing to see something made with a passion vs greed. modder vs 343, a modder thats not getting paid to make mods will make something amazing, yet a stuido with millions will pump out trash with every release.

These Halo MCC mods reminds me of the early Half Life 2 mods. Basic tweaks and changes, but fun!

To be fair, I think the retail H3 brutes are better compared to Elites than Brutes, which is what they're replacements for in H3.
