@@VoodleBand I've been trying to get it on the workshop but I can't get the Excession program to detect more than one campaign level at a time, I asked Vengeful Vadam how he set up H2 Uncut to support all of the maps but IIRC we weren't able to figure out what was wrong on my end

The fact the AR was added in this mod eases the pain my 7 year old self had when it wasn’t present my first time playing Halo 2
Yes, and then they replaced with a generic sub machine gun which was cool seeing they wanted to show it off for dual wielding but don’t fix something that’s not broken. They could have easily kept the Assault rifle for us to have access to more variety of weapons. Could have kept the original pistol as well and gave less ammo to it but the pistol in Halo 2 should be a lower caliber but more ammo.

@@alastor-yw7og I do agree, in Reach so many weapons felt so weak making them unfun to use, 4's sandbox was ok, had a decent amount of issues Reach had and the loadouts sucked
The Militia on the Mombassa rooftops was an incredible addition
18:34 Bungie made a genius move on letting the voice actors say whatever they want in terms of extra dialogue. 😆

THIS is what I love to see. Mods like Combat Revolved for CE, which mods the retail game to be more in line with current lore. The battles shown here makes the Battle for Earth look a lot more hectic, showing the NMPD be as present here as they were in the ODST Campaign. I hope there are lore easter eggs as well.

Halo 2 With Sprinkles is my favorite mod for Halo MCC! I hope it comes to Steam Workshop one day so I can play it with my friends!
These are the kinda remix mods I like. I love the retroactive additions that try to add more synergy to the trilogy in small ways. I love that you can also access these customized campaigns on a menu so you can enjoy whatever version of your favorite Halo game you wanna play.

This feels like an upgraded zoephies overhaul
I love those golden warthogs, not because they look cool but it’s because it makes the battle of New Mombasa seem more desperate. Humanity is throwing everything they can at the covenant not knowing it’s not their full fleet. Willing to go and modify civilian warthogs for combat again. Such a nice detail that makes a lot of sense
Just watching those hogs driving around made me think of the ute from Reach's Winter Contigency. Would be neat to see perhaps the militia driving them around NM with the classic H2 turret in lieu of Jorge
Honor grunts are likely based on deacons from Contact Harvest.
Funny enough I've talked to the mods creator on ruby of blues server he's a really nice guy from what I've experienced and he told me that he also made his mod as a appetizer for rubys halo 2 rebalanced mod

Man it’s been a while since I’ve played this mod
But god it was fun the larger battles were great and the uncapping the ally limits on missions where you would get like 2 troops to reinforce you if your 2 had died also reinforcements being a whole squad was rather nice
Regret hit different with 15 marines following in tow especially getting as many as possible in the underwater elevators.

i always found it so bizarre why they took the assault rifle out the game, it was icon and one of the first things to come to mind when thinking of halo
plus note - although i think its cool you have the opportunity to fight marines as the arbiter: it sort of wouldn't add up to the sheer amount of flood human combat forms faced in the original game...
'pillar of autumn' had approx a battalion of marines whilst the 'in amber clad' had a company

Late comment so it’s buried but, just from what i’ve seen so far, this hits every notch you could possibly look for in a halo mod, l really hope 3 receives the same attention in the future. Sierra 117 needs to be foggy and we need boonie hats!!

I wish both 343 and bungie did this 4:10 apart from each game having different designs it would be really cool to incorporate old ones as specific types of grunts. I saw a Halo 3 mod that used the storm grunts from 4 and 5 as insane melee grunts, which is quite fitting for their appearance.

im glad to see this mod adds Brutes earlier into the campaign. it always bothered me that Bungie saved them only for the latter fraction of the game

Really feels like what I was expecting Halo 2 to be as a kid before we even got Halo 2 as it was.
It also feels like this really is what Bungie was hoping to achieve with Halo 2, if you know, 😊an Microsoft executive didn’t tattoo the release date to their arm.

I'm not a huge fan of fighting Marines as the Arbiter but everything else about this mod is super cool and something I'd love to see in more Halo mods.
I do wish there were more weapons from other games besides the pseudo DMR and the MA5, though; would be neat to see the M6D and DMR make appearances.
The Arbiter does not like getting shot at by the marines so....
The regenerating health of the militia is something I wish marines had throughout the series, either via a low to moderate threshold or the stamina that the player character has in ODST
4:05 This should be the other way round tbh, the first Halo had curl backed Grunts lead by Elites so they should be like that here, whereas the pointed ones should be lead by Brutes as they are the only ones you see alongside them in Halo 3.
You're not making any sense trying to merge lore from a mod as if it's part of retail lore lol
@@CatcherInThePie-hi6bc Just makes more sense in terms of visual continuity, I don't care for lore regardless if its from a mod or retail, that kind of stuff gets retconned every few years anyway so it's a waste of time to even pay attention to it 🤷

CE Assault Rifle is the superior Assault Rifle than any other Rifle in the Halo franchise.
This looks absolutely stunning. The only thing that made me tick is the amount of time we see brutes and elites together, considering how both species feel about the other.
It's not like elites are a hivemind. If you follow the lore closer, not all elites turned on the brutes.
@@DeandonMartin elites and brutes only started working together again after the end of the great schism and even then it was pretty rare. Not to mention the brutes that did “work” with the elites postwar used it as an opportunity to get on sangheilios and launch a surprise attack. Some groups did work together years after the great schism was over but there were few that worked together during it.

How about recreating Ghosts of Onyx, The Last Voyage of the Infinite Succor, The Thursday War, etc?
This does make sense, because somehow the second amendment does exist in the halo universe in some form, interesting.

Halo 2: Unbalanced Edition
The mod is cool and I appreciate all the new armors and such, the heretic jackals being a clear standout, but things like introducing Brutes in the *second* level is one of those things that gets by on cool factor because it absolutely shreds the pacing of the game. I guess it's not as important for mods like this that're clearly meant for those who've played these games to death as I have, but it is still a bit of whiplash nonetheless.
The Halo Ce needs more fire rate but I love this a lot! Especially the flood grunts! Only perfect if the AR was faster but other than that - PERFECT!❤️

That assault rifle muzzle flash is covering the cross hair, it's either too big or the gun should be offsetted a bit.

@maritimesteak8540 Yeah, I'm working on it. The mod uploader application really seems to have a hard time uploading multiple maps into one addon for some reason. I'm considering uploading them one at a time and putting them all in a collection once they're uploaded... I think that would make updates a lot easier too

The Ma5b was really Bungies decline. They started balancing around money instead of fun, and now Destiny 2 is just a money treadmill for people with addiction problems.
The muzzle flash on the AR is ridiculously big and takes half the screen while going full aiuto is there a way to fix that? Other than that the mod is perfect
It seems like it doesn't have the recoil effect or accuracy bloom either

Unpopular opinion, but the halo ce assault rifle is my least favorite. It just never worked for me. Mostly for the sound and round count.
