Yes, I agree, even at the university's SolidWorks course our lecturer always told us to fully define every sketch we make.

@@vlm7239Right! Those blue lines give me nightmares. I can imagine a scenario in my career where I underdefine a sketch, drag it without realizing it, and end up making a thousand parts wrong-costing the company tens of thousands of dollars. Not fully defining your sketches is such a dangerous practice.
