When small fish swallow the hook a small disgorger like freshwater anglers use is best for getting the hook out. Much easier and less damaging than pliers or forceps. Not telling you what to do, just mentioning it incase you didn't know about them.

That's not the mermaid pool bud,...that's just a rock pool on w/ho!.... this place is amazing for rock pooling ..... but u wont catch any mermaids 😉 ..... might catch crabs tho 😂
Used to surf at the end of there near the sewage pipe when I lived at the ho!…amazing memories spear fishing/surfing what I called HO!me.

Went in there earlier this year for a swim though two anglers were quite annoyed. But we just carried on 😂
