Some movie 1 bots are designed well, Megatron wasn't. Seeing him next to the oversized Studio Series bots makes this look like someone left their toy in the car during a heatwave. Takara and Hasbro did their best but yeah, this one is a pass for me.
MTWENTY yes, took em 5 movies to give him proper fusion cannon, proper hands.....only to chop of his arm with the proper hand and fusion cannon(via optimus prime) and end the whole fucking trilogy in the same movie :V
best colouration of all megatron figures that strikes good contrast to any lighting condition showing all details which is otherwise masked if too dark paint
Good review as always! As for the figure... yeah. It's a mess imo, with the backpack in robot mod and just the whole "jet" mode. I can't call it bad though, as first movie megatron was a jagged confused cybertronian mess himself.
Finally, after 12 long years, we finally get a better 07 megs. The one in 07 is trash compared to this one, kudos to takara/hasbro for this masterpiece.

i love all the sculpted detail on him but that paint is not accurate to the movie...makes me wonder if they are going off the concept art designs i could be wrong but im pretty sure in the concept art he had similar colors in the movie he didnt really have them

Why is meg’s backpack larger than mpm prime’s backpack, whose alt mode is based on a real vehicle, when meg’s alt mode is a cybertronian mode(which in hasbro’s language means do whatever the fuck with the figure and call it based on what it loosely resembles).

The sculpting is phenomenal but the paint details are not movie accurate. I hope a knock-off company will give him the correct paint details.
StathIsOptimus yeah paint is nice though BUT more concept , I can only assume it’s just to make the detailing pop a little more

Hopefully we get a ROTF megatron mpm some day soon, hoping for blackout to be the next mpm in 2021 tho.
yeah the paint is bad, but im lucky enough to be the type who doesn't care about that and feels like a twelve-inch masterpiece for 150 aint too bad
