Beast mode looks great, never liked the bot mode. Can't remember if I have this guy or not (original) LOL. As for that shoulder, some quick work with a Dremel and a screw would solve that.
I don't usually skip transformation sequences, but you were holding the figure either too close, out of frame, or both. Something to think about in future. Good review otherwise. The figure looks great but should be half the price. It's just an upscaled version of the original Basic figure with some extra articulation (less so in the snake arm) and better paint, but iffy quaility.
I love you Ben as well but this part bugged me😅 I haven't watched anyone else's review on this so I was interested in the transformation. Quick strike was the second toy of my adult collection so I played with that thing a ton
Definitely agree the cobra arm could have used a rotation at the shoulder at least. Also not sure about the arm being a wire. Worried it could break over time. Looks awesome though
I don't understand the complaints about articulation for the cobra-arm. Becauase of the piping you can pose it pretty much however you want. Does he not understand that the arm is flexible and holds poses?
Hey Ben sadly my opinion differs on the head sculpt I don’t think the base of the head is wide enough and doesn’t resemble his on screen counterpart at all, I get there’s probably clearance issues they have to factor in but maybe it’s just me 😁
I'm with you here man. He should have (at very least!) had a ball joint at the shoulder. Never mind the fact that the bendy neck/arm is super lazy. Even the original figure had segmented ball joints. Also the scorpion legs should have been posable too. It's all pretty disappointing.... HOWEVER... he does still look good on a shelf... and there aren't exactly any other options lol
tarantulas shot prime with a remote control drone that attached to primes spark and quickstrike sat in a rig of primes body to control it. Season 3 episode 10 Master Blaster.
I love this transart line. Can't wait for dinobot and depthcharge
so happy to finally have a modern of this guy

Hi Ben!
Can’t wait on there take on Rampage!

Same mistake as the original Cheetor release- not painting that ass yellow/orange plastic they chose. Will wait for a full chrome version.
Lovely
Is that arm not on a bendable inner wire unit?
Yeah, it's that kind of bendable rubber/plastic over a wire.
IMO the original one is the best.
the og is clear plastic and loose
@@Alex876 I know, that was one of the flaws back in the day, but it is one of the most TV accurate designs except for the scorpion head orientation.
Dang... That extra shiny paint job was a mistake

In my opinion this should have been made better
