TransArt is just knocking the Beast Wars figures out the ballpark. This one is no exception. Love it!
I mean, it has some clearance issues, but other than that, he's basically perfect. He looks perfect, his accessories are all appropriate, he's well articulated, the rat mode is also basically perfect and the transformation ain't that bad. Awesome figure and awesome review.
I agree. The best Transmetal Rattrap action figure that we're going to get for a while, and at a decent price point.
@@Kooster69 transarts is a really nice company. Their only bad figure was Transmetal 2 Primal. All the others are top tier.

Holy shit, the fact Dinobot can actually sit on Rattrap like the show is amazing.
Love it so much. The most accurate Rattrap figure ever. It's such a shame we don't have an MP Rattrap to this quality. They could make the transformation the same, minus the wheels and the beast mode head/robot chest could be just a painted sculpt hidden away and hide the actual beast mode head.

I think that Hasbro should officially license out the BW Transmetal line to TransArt. That way, Hasbro could sell this stuff on Hasbro Pulse.
This is the rattrap I wanted as a kid.
I hope someone gives us a Rhinox one of these days. Right now pretty much the only modern option is the Kingdom version and I don't think that does the character justice.
Takara Tomy just announced masterpiece rhinox is in the works.

Transmetal Rattrap was my second transformer toy I got as a kid

As Rattrap himself put it, he is gorgeous.
With Hasbro showing that they're not going with vacu-metal, as seen with the Legacy BW Transmetal II Megatron, I'm very happy that TransArt is doing their BW Transmetal releases with vacu-metal. I'm very glad that I have bought the TransArt TransMetal Rattrap, along with the TransArt Beast Wars Ravage.
You should have included the "Hey i'm a rat on wheels" scene when you finished placing him into dragster mode.

This is sold out. Tried it get a couple of months ago, so it will have to be secondary market. It's stunning. The gloves could also be used for miming or snooker refereeing. Mine have stayed in the boxes

Mine should be here sometime this week, hopefully. I love this line. Can't wait for TM II Dinobot and Blackarachnia. Don't know if I'm gonna bother with TM II Cheetor, but I'll probably give in when he comes out. The only one I don't have and Plan on getting is the Optimal Optimus mold, to small in my opinion.

I am thinking of getting the black version. Hopefully it comes with all those accessories like the stand and blast effects as well! My cheetor (black ravage) didn't come with eye stickers.

Great figure over all but the more I look at it I can't help but see bayverse Starscream for some reason. It's probably the head or maybe that's what a transmetal 2 Rattrap would've look like?

Why didn’t you put the shield back on the wheel when showing the vehicle mode?? He never went without the red pieces on the wheels in the show.

You miss transformed the rear legs in beast mode. Those pegs only attach on vehicle mode.

This is single handedly one of the must FRUSTRATING transformations I have ever had to work with. It is NOT a fun experience.
Honestly the robot modes in beast wars are all superior. Might just leave them like that 😂. Getting the black version on Saturday most likely.
@@billaubin14 I honestly have left them in their "transportation" mode for the most part. I think those modes are the most appealing to look at.
By any chance, are you getting the oversized Rhino Warrior? I noticed it on TF- Direct last week after their monthly email and am very curious.

The arms and one of the front legs on mine have become very loose that's disappointing after only owning him for three days.

@@Benscollectables yeah noticed the one of the front rat legs was loose and droopy after my first transformation and then I was trying to pose him in robot mode the the arms just would drop and not hold a pose. Gonna try using some kiki solution for loose joints hopefully that works.

Looking good but it is made of trash material unlike early version(cheetor, ravage, primal)
I was pretty onboard with this design but the shoulder rat head pieces being a fake rat head just shocked me. And the fact they even combine to form a small rat head that does nothing made it even worse. I don't normally care about fake vehicle/beast parts if there's nothing you can do about it but that's just awful to me, I can't accept that.
That's because his rat parts always shrank between modes. It's unavoidable for screen accuracy
@@USSMariner I guess but watching that big chonky head pop out and then the shoulder armor head pieces come together like the original toy only to be hidden drove me nuts.
