I've never had a toy made from 3D printing, but of course we can make 3D printed toys (one of which is Transformers)

I mostly make guns, swords, missiles and Targetmasters from my 3d printing, not full figures.
How amazing it is that with the skill set you can actually do that and do it affordably as well

I picked up the Armada Megatron shoulder replacement from Sam's forge and it's great. Fits nice works nice. But I am aware of 3d filament strength and durability. And where I appreciate the work and inspiration that goes into the work and product of these individuals making 3d upgrades, I know how easy it would be to take that second step to mold injected parts even at a small scale. And where I do support the small and growing community of 3d printers, I wish they would take those steps to provide better products.

Great to see you back Ben and I'm glad you're settling in well! I've missed you man.
I really like the sculpts on these figures, but if I were printing them out myself I'd print them in resin. You get a much better finish and there's little to no need of sanding and, as a model maker, I HAVE to sand, it's part of my DNA now! The other issue for me though is that they're very "flat". They need paint, even if it's just a dark wash to get in the nooks and crannies, give it some depth. But again, this is my model making background. I think I'd buy the files for the Alpha Trion and Scrapper and try them, see how they come out once I've got my studio set up. So in another decade then! 🤦🤣
Anyway, as I said, glad to see you back and I look forward to seeing your next video!

Welcome back! The 3d printing community is getting bigger every year. Personally I was inspired by printformers and last year I started printing some accessories and small stuff but recently I found my niche with micromaster bases designs :) I only sell designs too though I don't have facility to print "for the public"

Nice to see you again. i found this channel on youtube where they 3d print transformers. they don't transform but have great articulation. Toymakr3D. Also have you seen the masterpiece beast wars rhynox. Also have you done a review of the 4th party movie ironhide m-06 (the black apple one)
I have Blackapple ironhide but I’ve not reviewed him yet , Rhinox looks amazing and yep I’ve seen Toymakr3d , some amazing bits on there :)
