Probably the best MPM figure we’ve ever gotten so far officially. Perfectly sculpted, well detailed, the few gimmicks you get work well without hindering the figure itself, and it’s even painted in all the correct spots unlike Megatron and Optimus. There’s very little that a KO can actually improve on other than maybe somehow integrating an ab crunch, making the ankle pivot more farther to pose, making his hands able to rotate 360 degrees to emulate that magnetize ability and to pose the gun in more directions, and to find a better way to transform the two panels sticking out by his shoulders, maybe make his windows a darker tint as well to not make the robot kibble so easy to see, but aside from that it’s perfect in what it’s trying to represent. The Pontiac Solstice custom hardtop mode isn’t that bad either and looks pretty clean considering how involved the transformation is, so it’s actually pretty crazy that it looks cleaner than the others side by side. I guess maybe the KO could possibly give this guy even more weapons and maybe even give him an actual arm sword of some kind that emulates the concept art but in the movie itself he only had the shield gun, so all it would really do outside of the concept art sword arm is basically be a small made up weapon upgrade that would coincide with Optimus and Ironhide, which hey I think would be good anyways since he only has one despite him being second-in-command lieutenant, so I think he deserves more. His incredibly unfair and short runtime in the first movie isn’t gonna hinder everyone’s imagination.
But anyways, love the figure already as is. Never in a million years did I expect a Movie Jazz figure let alone done officially and perfectly, but I’m glad it exists. And on a side note, I can’t wait for TsungMung’s DOTM Soundwave, Dream Factory’s DOTM Megatron and Shockwave, and ToyWorld’s MPM Bumblebee “Leader” Optimus Prime. Very good to see that more companies are giving more proper attention to the movie designs for figures even if the Bayformers movies themselves suck and that Bumblebee 2018 hardly matters since it is connected to it, lmfao. The majority of the main cast of robots always had great looks for them though even if they were different from the more cleaner and generally better G1 designs, so I’m not denying that. At least the designers for those guys tried to make something stand out more even if they’re for senseless throwaway Hollywood schlock movies.
Now all we need is to see them do a Ratchet and we will have the whole 2007 Autobot cast. No doubt that there’s gonna be a KO on that too with the vibrant green and white DOTM color scheme and more weapons again.
Oh and there’s gonna be an MPM styled Devastator by Bombusbee, I’m extremely curious to see how *that* will work as well...
@@thisnotme7345 Really? Is there a proper source for that? Why would it even get cancelled in the first place? That doesn't just happen overnight with literally no one noticing. And even if it truly has I don't think it would forever be cancelled since there's little to compare it to, just delayed. More often than not that figures get delayed by a few more years because an official or more inferior release is coming out first to not completely overshadow, Hoodlum had to be delayed for three years just because Hasbro/Takara decided to make their own version of Hot Rod for example.

3:18 Untransform the legs. Look at the underside of the roof. There's a tiny blue peg. The pelvis has to plug 100% into that or else there will be gaps in the car's panels. And I say 100% because it will *feel* plugged in, but that's just it clicking into place near the peg. Keep wiggling it and then you'll *actually* feel it plug in.

I need two things for a KO version. Blue tinted windows and visor, and any possible way they can condense the backpack more.
Ko's barely reenginer the figure as it's to hard that's why officials cost alot so don't be expecting one with a whole different back pack the most they do is change joints and paint of it
To me it doesn't even look like a backpack it flows so perfectly with the figure it's really not that bad

I know we must support the original release, but considering the blemishes, the non-perfect alignment of the car panels and some minor issues here and there for the price, I think I will wait for the inevitable KO that will fix those issues AND be cheaper :(

I have mp-44, huge waste of money in my opinion. I got him for the cheapest price I could find him, 500 dollars. I was super skeptical about him, but everybody said he was the best and I watched tons of videos, he broke on the first day, he’s super super fragile and I need to watch emgo 316 every time I try to transform him, the only thing that isn’t fragile is the trailer and I just display that with MPM-11 optimus
