My quick thoughts on each short. I'm On A Yacht: Song was fun for the first half, then got cringy when Spike showed up. On the plus side, Derpy, Trixie, and Fluttershy lookin' FIIIIIINNNNNNEEEEEE!!!! LOL Run To Break Free: Good Rainbow Dash song. Camping Must Haves: RariJack + Glamping = Oh my god, everyone hit the deck, it's SHIPPING FUEL!!! Festival Filters: Cute. Interesting to note the only filter Applejack liked was of her and Rarity having hearts on their heads. How To Backstage: Sunset Shimmer is adorable. Nuff said. Festival Looks: Harmless, though not very memorable. Overall, a fun collection of shorts.

Based on the last few as well as the next couple that have been released, I think the next special is going to be about the humane 7 at the music festival dealing with... a magical issue
1. Yyyyyeeeeah, this is easily my least favourite song in the entire Equestria Girls series. It’s even worse than most the songs from EG 1. I’d seriously rather listen to Twilight’s singing practice from that one scene from Rainbow Rocks than this. The instant second I heard that “Dank Meme Horn”, I could already tell there was something wrong. 2. A huge improvement. I knew Rainbow would have a Quicksilver moment at some point in the series, which I like. I love those kind of scenes. At least DHX knows how to do super speed right unlike the people who made the upcoming Sonic movie. (P.S. Don’t watch that trailer, it’s too awful) The song is nice too. 3.Despite the RariJack shipping fuel (haven’t they done enough of that already?!) this was nice. 4. I’m with Sunset, I never usually use filters, except in videos only if necessary. Also, I like how they all cringed at the G3 pony faces. 5. This short is THE reason I love Sunset so much. She’s amazing. 6. I don’t see them doing all these shorts and not do a special or music video short of the Rainbooms performing at this festival. Also, I think I’m best with just a normal T-shirt and jeans, a hoodie too if it’s a bit cold.

The director, Katrina Hedley, literally said that the scenes with Rarity and AJ(in this season of EqG and Rollercoaster of Friendship at least) were made with the intent of depicting them as a couple. It's not canon in the shows lore, but the RariJack shipping moments were intentional.
