That movie is good. I don't know which teen movie about mental illness is: The Perks of Being a Wallflower or It’s Kind of a Funny Story. What was it about Charlie that you connected to his character?
I've gotten so much mileage out of the line, "Remove head from sphincter, then drive!" from 10 Things I Hate About You. Usually yelled at other drivers on the freeway.
A variation on, "What is your damage, Heather?" that my sister and I use is, "What is your childhood trauma?" from Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) in Buffy, The Vampire Slayer.
"You can't sit with us!" is the line I always go to whenever someone says that they hate something. I also tend to use "As if it's hard?" line from Legally Blonde whenever someone wonders how I managed to do something that was easy to begin with. And I tend to use the "My apologies to (insert famous author)." from Easy A for whenever I think what had happened would be like a (insert famous author's) work but it back fires immediately.
"Eat your cereal with a fork and do your homework in the dark." A quote that seems to have been lost in time. One of my favorite teenage angst movies ever, Pump up the Volume.
I definitely use "as if" more frequently than any of the others, but I also very often say both "Screws fall out. It's an imperfect world." and "If he gets up, we'll all get up! It'll be anarchy!" from The Breakfast Club.
This is a great list. For me though, “You’re in my spot” from the Big Bang Theory lives rent-free in my head. As for Perks of Being a Wallflower, the song Come On, Eileen will never be the same for me.
We use the line from Breakfast Club about how "my old man and your old man should get together and go bowling"... but we say this whenever there are two people with a warped perception of something we think should get together for such a pupose, lol
I have been using the line, "I know, right?" ever since I saw Mean Girls. I never heard those words phrased in that way before, and I can't stop saying it to this day.
“Sorry Fellas the bakery is closed.” Van Wilder “What? Like it’s hard?” Legally Blonde “Dude! What’s mine say? Sweet! What’s mine say? Dude!” Also, “and den…no more and den!” Dude where’s my car
"Life is one fuhng beauty contest after another. You know, school, then college, then work, fuq that. And fuq the air force academy. If I wanna fly, I'll find a way to fly. You do what you love, and fuq the rest." - Dwayne
I find uses for movie clips on the daily, even tho I may not say them out loud. Back to the Future, Beetlejuice, Harry Potter, Bill and Ted.....and the list goes on. If something is boring: "it reads like stereo instructions". If I'm driving thru a new part of town: "I remember when this was all farmland, as far as the eye can see (it works even if it was developed before my time. Lol) My go-to one right now is when one of the boy cats is messing with the girl: "No (insert cat name), you leave her alone. If the weather is different than the forecast: "since when can weathermen predict the weather....let alone the future". I have hundreds of stuff like that.
I have one that is probably only me- but I mutter it under my breath when I'm trying to keep a smile on my face when someone is being problematic: "good times, noodle salad" said by Jack Nicholson in a movie for which I can't remember the title!!!
When I was in highschool, the band was made up mostly of metal heads and/or stoners. So, I could finish that famous quote with some pretty good stories!
If I said "This one time at band camp", my friends from highe school who were also in band will know I'm spouting bullshit because I never went to band camp despite being IN band. I wasn't good enough at the trumpet to go anyway. I'm decent, but that's about it.
"I used to think, and really believe that there was one true love for everyone, and if you fought hard enough for that person, your one true love would always work out. It sounded good to me when I was younger, but it just doesn't work that way." (Crazy Stupid Love, 2011)
3:35 The amazing part is, the youngest cast member in this movie is now much older than the oldest cast member. This movie is nearly 40 years old, an a high school kid today will still relate to the kids in this movie. Aside from getting detention if you bring a gun to school.
The Perks of being a wallflower is my favourite movie of all times. I got we accept the love we think we deserve tattood on me. Everything Charlie went through I went through when I was younger so this will forever be my favourite movie and line of all time. We were infinite and welcome to to the island of misfit toys are also good.
Weird Science is a killer quotable movie. Just about every John Hughes movie has tons of great one liners but Weird Science is my favorite for one liners.
If people repeat the lines from movies over and over again (especially if it is from movies like Mean Girls) then it gets old and annoying really quick.
I never understood the appeal of Napoleon Dynamite. It's just really creepy looking people making stupid faces?!? I stopped watching after about 20 minutes.
@linusholm3806 I get that, but it's rather annoying. You should only have to post it once, and at this point, I'm pretty sure they would've seen it already anyways.
But what if the video got like 342 comments, then the ods would be smaller and I wrote my comments the first two minutes this video was posted. How would I know the video would only get 64 comments.

Anything from Clueless
"We accept the love we think we deserve." The older I get, the more I relate to this quote, and to Charlie in general.
That movie is good. I don't know which teen movie about mental illness is: The Perks of Being a Wallflower or It’s Kind of a Funny Story. What was it about Charlie that you connected to his character?
Probably, his timidness, or his willingness to put his friends' wellbeing ahead of his own, which I'm very guilty of doing.
sis, I see you around on this channel, and on others I follow, and I just love your energy though! keep that head up.
“She doesn’t even go here!” That’s just one of many quotable _Mean Girls_ lines, but Damian stole the damn scene with that quip!
When my gay friends and I are trying to create drama, one of us will remind the other to "Stop trying to make x happen."
Whenever I pick up friends, I yell, "Get in, loser! We're going ___ !"
How did we not include "you're killing me smalls"! That was the line we used all the time during my childhood
My favorite line ever!!
I've gotten so much mileage out of the line, "Remove head from sphincter, then drive!" from 10 Things I Hate About You. Usually yelled at other drivers on the freeway.
“On Wednesdays we wear pink.” And “Put it in the book.” From the original, and only, Mean Girls movie that matters (in my opinion).
“If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.” Surprising how many times this works.
The five d’s of dodgeball
A variation on, "What is your damage, Heather?" that my sister and I use is, "What is your childhood trauma?" from Cordelia (Charisma Carpenter) in Buffy, The Vampire Slayer.
She takes her popularity VERY seriously!
Love Cordy 😊
Every time my son says, "this one time" i ALWAYS follow with, "at band camp!" He gets so irritated🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂brilliant!!
I’m going with the only reason “what, like it’s hard” didn’t make the list as it was technically a college movie.
“I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS!” from _Better Off Dead_ will always be king of teen movie quotes to me 😁
😂 This and...

Be a whole lot cooler if you did 😉

You’re killing me smalls!!!
Every line in Napolean Dynamite is applicable in any conversation 😂
The world’s an imperfect place…screws fall out all the time
I think "It's pretty much my favorite animal," was the most known line from Napoleon Dynamite.
I definitely use "as if" more frequently than any of the others, but I also very often say both "Screws fall out. It's an imperfect world." and "If he gets up, we'll all get up! It'll be anarchy!" from The Breakfast Club.
'' Your a wizard Harry". '' A wizard? I can't be a wizard. My parents dead in a car crash. "

I know it’s not a teen movie but my daughter and I always quote Dumb and Dumber. “Pick ‘em up” or “so you’re saying I have a chance.”
I have been using the line, "I know, right?" ever since I saw Mean Girls. I never heard those words phrased in that way before, and I can't stop saying it to this day.

Mine is from Men Girls but “Fetch” has totally happened
"I used to think, and really believe that there was one true love for everyone, and if you fought hard enough for that person, your one true love would always work out. It sounded good to me when I was younger, but it just doesn't work that way."
(Crazy Stupid Love, 2011)
The line I most remember from Heathers is, “CORN NUTS!!!”
Lol about band camp 😂😅 Also love "my bad" from Clueless, that's the first time I ever heard it.😂
Yet I have not heard of half of these, let alone used them.
'I want you I need you Oh Baby Oh Baby' should be on here.
“you’re killing me smalls!”
"What is your major malfunction, numb*****!" from Full Metal Jacket.
I say you go Glen Coco way more than I wish she doesn't even go here. But I do hear others say it every now and then.
What a great top this was. Happy saturday night, Kirsten. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
The Mean Girls Line is most iconic to me is I'm not a regular mom I'm a cool mom
Me: The pharse is a masterpiece a
"Get out of my facial" from Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie
I don’t know if this is from a movie or just a TV show but what about the line “whatever”? Or isn’t that in clueless as well? 🤔
For the record, we were saying “as if” before Clueless. It was valley girl.
3:35 The amazing part is, the youngest cast member in this movie is now much older than the oldest cast member.

"Hello... McFly..." I think you forgot one.
“May the odds be ever in your favor” from Hunger Games
Weird Science is a killer quotable movie. Just about every John Hughes movie has tons of great one liners but Weird Science is my favorite for one liners.
I use that line “I’ll be in my bedroom” all the time, but never associated it with Harry Potter.

“What, like it’s hard?” Clearly in the top 5!
