Definitely SHARPs in those days. A decent amount of SHARP in the PA area in the 90s-2000s. Definitely Early 2000s I saw a branch out into more of the hardcore crews, some even had prospects similar to MC culture. If there is an event, you will be there. If we fight, you fight. If you are called at 3am, and need to be somewhere. You better be there. Most went unsaid because that was the life already. That was your brother's beside you. I know a few guys who left the hardcore scene to start riding MCs. I think the live fast, respect and fighting was a natural transition. Same with the respect and brotherhood of it all for many. Even the security aspects started get involved. I know a lot of hardcore guys who ended up working security next to MC guys at bars, shows and other events.

Years ago, on the outskirts of Hemet, CA, I was at a bar when a group of vagos came… the shirt I was wearing was almost the exact color that they wore. I stepped out for a cigarette because I didn’t want them to start noticing and maybe questioning. I grew up in southern California in the 80s and 90s so I was used to seeing or hearing about people getting checked and sometimes beat for wearing their colors. From since I can remember and I know I'm older than Mooch. We had skinheads putting flyers in lockers with swastika's, information to join them. This was in the O.C. back in then 80's.
