Thanks for the great videos Chris. After a long day of work I very much enjoy sitting down and watching your videos. I am also a combat veteran, I have PTSD and major depression. I can't tell you how many times your videos have helped me to clear my mind and help me relax. Please keep up the great work. Thank you
I use to do this all by hand when I bought my little farm back in 1980. I had some pretty amazing fires that burned for days. How nice it is to sit here with my arthritic old joints and just watch you stay dry in that cab, I can almost smell the wood burn while the pond fills, this is so relaxing!
We’ve gotten close to 6 inches of rain here in Western Kentucky where I live over the last week or so. I figured you were getting some of that. Your pond looks great now that it’s full. I’d like to see how much the big pond where you’re working now has come up since the rain.
Holy moly that pond is full. I remember you working on the dam and there were barely any puddles in it. It does look good, with a really nice reflection of the blue sky after the storm.
That pond looks awesome now that it’s full. It looks a lot different now. It’s nice to see a pond that you built actually full. Awesome video Chris. Thanks for the update.
Thanks for the burn video. Your pond looks great, nice to be rewarded with a nice pond after all the planning and hard work. Thanks for the update young man, enjoyed the watching.
Looks like you have the storm that went threw here in western ky. this morning, knocking on your doorstep right now. Man, think we got about 5-6 in. of rain today !! it was coming down in buckets this morning til early afternoon, just about all gone now ,done moved east your way !! Hell Yeah, Chris, that pond really turned out nice !! I really like how you do your bank edges, with the water level, makes the pond look nice and neat... Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Weekend, and Evening !! and, On too the Next !!
Yes indeedy, the pond looks great. I know it was dark, but I really appreciate you showing what a full overflow pipe looks like from the top and bottom. I honestly expected more washout on the outlet side, looking good. I knew you had enough watershed for a pond because a) you know your land and the water flow, b) several years ago you did walk about on the South Side of your property after the fence was put in and the flooding, standing water was incredible. Thanks for sharing the fires. You do those so well, they are so much fun. Thanks again, for this Chris. Looking forward to your next video.
I discovered your channel several months ago. I watch a variety of channels and you are at the top of my list that I look forward to. You are a true professional.
Definitely love Chris's pile fire episodes. WOW what a difference the pind being finally full makes. It's absolutely beautiful now. Throw in some fishies and it won't be long till it's time to set up a camp rocking chair with a couple of coolers fulla beer and munchies and start casting for dinner. It's definitely a nice swimming hole now.
Your little farm pond is in such a pretty setting - nice place to sit and contemplate notjing in particular. Burns went well with the added attempt to get stuck - not that wouldn't have been pretty.
Nailed it. Pond looks perfect as well as great. Just as you said you had not extended the pipe, I was thinking "I bet he wishes he had extended the pipe". Great minds think alike! lol
I think that would be the better move with your pond outlet. Riprap and scoonch the channel over away from the fence posts. I seem to recall that was what you wanted to happen, was to get a good heavy rain in to see just where the water was going to settle down a channel before doing trim tweeking there Chris.
Couple of really hot fires and an overfull pond... certainly not a bad way to deal with a rainy day... and yeah, I expect videos to be slow.. I know You're buddy there (Bealy) did a livestream Tue and it was raining and his overflow was doing the same thing... Welcome to winter...
Now that your into the rain season, any chance of checking into some of the other larger ponds your built? I respect those are all private property though. But you’ve conquered some mighty tall dam builds..
RAINDAY! The other say, this Day is6 not to Work! You Happy, You can the to preparate heap Burn! And the Visit by the new Pond! Pond full Water, the Overflow and Spillway workt Perfect. However You have a first Class Work make. Good Video. Thanks. 👌👍
I had no doubts about that pond. I remembered the flooded mess that area was before you did anything back there, especially after a hurricane! Monsoons count too!!😂😂 Now Chris,,, I have a bone to pick with ya!! 😮😮 Are we not worth a huge belly laugh when you “accidentally” shock yourself on the fence?? 😂😂 I personally know how much they hurt, but I survived!! Even in muddy conditions!! 😂😂. My dog wasn’t sure how to deal with my small tantrum after,,,, but when I started laughing at her reaction to my carelessness, she got the zombies IN THE MUD!! It was a long day,,,,,. 😊😊 Are we not worth that??😮😮😂
It's rained for a while day two different times this week. Some friends have had tree damage from the wind. Trees falling on vehicle's. It's been a crazy weather situation.
You should try Man Behind The Scene's method (Dirt Perfect). They soak a hay bale with diesel and stuff it in a hole they make. If that fails, out comes the blower.
Well Chris at least you're not catching your excavator on fire down by the connection of the thumb and bucket like Mike and Aaron did on his channel. Just make sure you don't have leaves at sticks in the connection area of the hoses .... Go check it out and give him crap about it lol
Yeah your pond looks good!…not muddy like your buddy bealy’s ponds!…must filter the water coming through your woods…wonder if bealy should channel his runoff into a stone stream bed with rip rap bars to filter the mud out…hmmm!
Thanks for the great videos Chris. After a long day of work I very much enjoy sitting down and watching your videos. I am also a combat veteran, I have PTSD and major depression. I can't tell you how many times your videos have helped me to clear my mind and help me relax. Please keep up the great work. Thank you
And thank you, sir, for your service. Chris is helping more than you can imagine.

I'm glad you had good luck with the burning of the brush piles. Some piles can be challenging.

Hey Chris, I know it's slow, but if you can post a video of folding laundry or vacuuming the guest room I'd appreciate it.
