Old large pond. I have to dig a ditch because the old ditch is overgrown and he doesn't have the right slope in many places. Water flows into the pond from rural reclamation. The owner does not plan to use this pond for fish farming yet. As you can see the whole pond is plowed, because the farmer plans to sow grain there. So I had to dig a ditch so that no wet places would form in the field. Enjoy watching 🍿☕🖐

Here I sit, in a phone conference with work, watching some guy in an excavator dig a ditch. It's oddly satisfying. I don't know why. It looks like he is having more fun than I am.

You want to know what's funny is even when I worked for construction crew I always ended up staring at the excavators as they worked I was lucky enough to be partnered with a very extremely good operator the type that could take the hat off your head without you even knowing LOL you taught me quite a bit while I worked for him I still like watching it still amazes me how you guys are so hand-eyed coordinated
This is the only video of this kind which shows the use of levelling equipment resulting in the water actually moving to the drainage system. Well done! And that is an impressive bucket!!
Great stuff, we love using this type of equipment on our jobs, speeds up the process a good 100x at least.
Where MrAJ digs water is sure to follow... He is like the pied piper with an excavator. I am constantly amazed at how humans can control a 60,000 pound machine and make it do even the smallest movements to achieve what they want it to do. I see you are in Latvia while I am in the USA. I also follow such a person here that I am sure you are aware of and his name is LetsDig18. You both are simply amazing at what you do and how you do it. Excellent work...
This stuff does really take talent I play rock-tetris with blasted quarry rock myself loading dump trucks/rock tub trailers (self loading). It's actually harder to hit max gross weight the larger the rocks are without playing rock-tetris as they don't stack together very well and as a result usually end with huge voids in the cargo box and loads being under weight.

That ground is perfect digging no rocks no nothing.
That is a preexisting pond they are usually carved out of the ground then backfilled with clay but the root of the drain trenches slowly fill with muck and mud over time therefore requiring a drain and retrench every 10-20yrs just to clean out the build up of muck

Hey brother, when I ran my machine I never brought my boots in the cab. I had an igloo cooler strapped to the step, take them off put the in the cooler, got in the machine and put on a pair of slippers. Cab stayed nice and clean, boots stayed nice and dry!!! Have a great day: }
