Every time you added detail I was like oh wow that’s good she must be finished but it just kept getting more and more detailed I felt so drawn to it. How long did this take?
very new to art so maybe daft question. you say too let paint fully dry before glazing etc, but I thought oils take weeks to dry ? Awesome painting BTW, I am going to attempt a black and white cat as he left this world a few months ago and want to reproduce his eyes like this. You are very talented. Thanks for video.

Oh goodness that’s so sweet of you to say!! This painting probably took about an hour

Thank you! I just use a variety of small round brushes, nothing special 😊
Is this dry or wet oil? I seem to like the contrast.

How many times did you let the paint dry before adding another layer?
I usually let the painting dry twice - before my detail phase and then again before I glaze 😊😊

Hello! I use a product called Liquin by the brand Winsor & Newton for glazing, and I use a variety of paint for it.
What colours did you use?
For this one I used Burnt Umber, ivory black, titanium white, yellow ochre and Prussian blue 😊
