I’m building a one to one scale model of the world. The hard part is it keeps changing. So if everyone could stand still for a bit that would be great.
I have both the Colleseum and the Titanic. I know the world building line has been going since 1999, but I wish they came with a single ring bound manual, and a UCS style plaque. It would make the sets feel that my more premium.
The Titanic is both an incredible build and an incredible size. luckily for me I have a fireplace in my Lego room and the stands just fit on the mantle piece relegating my Jurassic Park Gates and Rex to the shelves. Also the Titanic has NO stickers! Win!
*Stickers are a letdown in any set they're part of. *The 2007 and 2017 UCS Falcons look great sitting side-by-side. *Since I only collect Star Wars sets, 75192 is the only one of these five I have. But the Titanic and the Colosseum both look great.
I was able to get the Titanic on the third “back in stock” notification from LEGO. I hope you are able to break through sometime soon. I hate Amazon scalpers.
I have nearly all star wats sets. The ATAT, death star, millennium falcon, jabba the hutts Palace with rancor pit, star destroyer, ewok village, dozens of small spaceships, hoth and more
The World Map doesn't count as #1 LEGO set since most of its pieces are small dots. Currently The Eiffel Tower holds the crown for the Biggest LEGO set of all time
Amazing builds. We have the hogwarts castle and it was so fun to put together. I personally don’t think the world map should be on this list though because it’s just a bunch of studs.
Honestly, if I had the titanic set, I would 100% display it on some sort of multi-level shelf, with the front taken off and poking down as if it just broke off
1 - Titanic 2 - Hogwarts Castle 3 - Collosseum 4 - Millenium Falcon 5 - AT-AT I don't consider the World Map a proper LEGO set. The Art line is just that. Art. They're not proper 3D sets. Otherwise the Ultimate Hogwarts Crest Art would also make the list and overthrow the Titanic since it has over 9500 pieces when done.
Tbh, it is truly scandalous that a piece of plastic is this expensive! If they made it cheaper, everybody could play with lego, like i did in the past. I had buckets full
Once built the falcon in about a couple of weeks and was afraid that it might break or some pieces will fall. The effort involved gave birth to a fear of losing it all due to some whimsical accident. Funny how our minds work.
I have a completely different order! Colosseum, Hogwarts Castle, (AT-AT would be here), Millennium Falcon and then the Titanic. There's just something about the timelessness of the Colosseum that is just amazing to me, that none of the other sets can beat (looking at you Titanic...) I don't really think he art piece should count. It's a different class of lego, like if they made a giant bucket of bricks that was 10,000 pieces that shouldn't count either. Not to say that it isn't a great thing to buy, just I'm not really sure it should count under the category of "Set".
I just got the Titanic and waiting for some pieces that were missing or damaged. I recently put the Colosseum together for the 2nd time and dismantled it. I also have the Hogwarts Castle. I have the earlier version of the UCS Millenium Falcon and didn’t feel the need to get the newer version. I have no interest in the map, as it is just a bunch of round tiles. I was surprised to see that there is a huge AT-AT. I recently got the latest one. I have 3 different versions out of the 5 or 6 produced. Currently, I am thinking of getting the D11 bulldozer, as I am mostly into the Technic sets.
im mostly into technic sets too. Biggest one i got is the 42100 excavator, yet now i just can't stop thinking bout the titanic set even tho it's too expensive for me..
@@TinkeringJohn i got the 42055 too, and the 42082 terrain crane, aswell as the 42056 Porche, 42083 Bugatti, 42110 Land Rover, and soon arriving 42115 Lambo too. Do you have any of the car sets?
many of these size videos are based on piece count alone. Be interesting to see a video based on size by deminsions or weight. Because there is different ways to judge size. Like the imperial star destroyer for instance deminsions wise is bigger than some of these sets and heavier. But alot less pieces. The size of the pieces matters alot too. Just maybe a suggestion for a future video. Be very interesting to see what set is truly the heaviest or largest by volume.
I have the at-at. Currently working on the millennium falcon and planning to buy the star destroyer in the near future to complete the set IF the titanic doesn’t come back. I missed out on that one and I’ve been checking Lego almost rigorously for it to come back!
I have had Hogwarts Castle for a few years now and I just got Titanic. I haven’t started it yet though. I am still working on Diagon Alley. I will start on the Titanic once my new shelves are all set up. I also have the LEGO Star Wars UCS Star Destroyer, The Devastator. I’d love to have the Millennium Falcon and AT AT UCS sets as well, but I would honestly need a bigger house.
I have that Hogwarts set still in the box - I've been looking forward to putting it together, but dread where I'll display the finished model - also I wonder if I should spring for a lighting set prior to assembly. (I am still proud to own the sixth largest set, though.)

There is a difference between LEGO set piece count, dimensions, volume, and weight. The "world's largest" title should go to the LEGO set with the most volume. The map should be classified as "world's most pieces."

LEGO is actively forcing me to buy bigger house with all these large sets XD
Legos are starting to be worth more than gold pretty soon
Yes
Me too
I have enough money to buy large sets, but not even close to buy a house. House prices raise more than I can save in a year.
Don’t worry, Lego will just make a full scale house set, sadly it will be 80 bucks, should have been 60
You can also use transparent brick for hanging the light siber

IMO Lego Titanic being $170 cheaper than MF yet larger count is worth the cheaper book.
