Another enjoyable walk around your garden. Some helpful tips and ideas. Blueberry video sounds like a great plan. Look forward to next months garden excursion. Have fun, Mark : )
This is so helpful. It's silly but I hadn't considered that I could put something back in the dehydrator a few days on if I notice it still has moisture that I didn't want. That makes me feel more confident to try.
That happened to my delphiniums this year. I had teeny green caterpillars on them and because they were quite cute and I’m a butterfly and moth enthusiast, I just left them to it. I’m glad they were able to feed and grow, and hopefully emerge, but holy cow it was absolute plant DESTRUCTION 🤣
Same caterpillar problem here; they decimated all the kale and cauliflowers etc. along with over 20 large natertium plants! My chickens won't eat the cabbage white caterpillars but will eat the rest!
Please can you make a video on berries, what berries come in season when and how to grow them etc, I have started to garden this year and would love to learn 😊
as a rule strawberries which if you get a variety that re fruits will take you through till autumn, then raspberries and honey berries, then all your currants plus blue berries, tayberries and loganberries, in late august to september blackberries and autum fruiting raspberries ,,,,,, sorry forgot gooseberries june july time
Had the same problem with caterpillars this year. It would be great if you made a video about growing blueberries because I've struggled with them this year; they dropped all their leaves.
I’ve never considered growing my courgettes vertically…ingenious! I’ll be pinching that idea next growing season thanks 😊 will you be doing a tomato taste test this year? Love your content, I bought the same Winter radishes from Real Seeds and am looking forward to sowing them soon x
@@Victoria-B it’s actually great, and saves so much space! I haven’t grown as many tomato varieties this year, but might see if I can get some from other growers nearby so I can compare lots of them! Ahh yay, I’m excited to try the radishes ☺️
This is something I have experienced myself and come to understand that same had been scientifically proved fact. Whenever you're out in your Garden, ALWAYS be totally barefoot because our soles love and deserve that freedom. They love to feel various textures of soil between their toes. Apart from n it's very healthy to be barefoot outside. Take for example two plants, one grown inside a pot and tge other grown in Nature. However much you water and use fertilizer, it never looks as healthy as the latter. This is simply because the roots have a limited space to stread and the Nurishment too is the same. The soles of our feet are like the roots of a tree. When you're not barefoot that natural process is obstructed. Our soles are designs to absorb things which are essential to lead a healthy lifestyle. However, use of footwear deprives this process. Apaurt from that there are a large number of Sensors / Nerve endings on the soles of our feet, which connects from head to toe. When we walk on Sand, Gravel and Tiny Stones /Pebbles,our entire body gets stimulated through these sensors. Once again Footwear deprives this natural process. So, go barefoot always for good health and happy feet and soles
