Excellent and informative video. The PCM unplug connector check for alternator default is valuable and rarely shown anywhere. Top marks. Russell, Qatar

Have a question maybe you can help me with. I have a 2004 crown Victoria with a PCM controlled alternator once in awhile the voltage goes up with rpms. Doesn't do it all the time any tips would be appreciated
Haven't been able to get the voltage tested while it's sitting. It won't do it then of course. But driving, the gauge moves up and the lights get brighter. It goes to the top of the "normal" range.
Finally, a great explanation of this Ford charging system. I have a flat battery right now 🤨
