    Nice buck Rick, but if I may... I'd be real interested in watching you put your eastern techniques to the test here out west. You ever want to track some Northern Alberta bucks I'd be happy to host you. Was tracking a nice one yesterday... being more of a stalker myself I could have used some Nor'East expertise, never did get him.

    Must have to have them caped out and processed up there before coming back home. Being they don't allow crossing the border with bone especially spinal tissue ect to prevent any possible chronic waist disease passing from state to state?

      Few non residents take meat home. You eat some in camp with the crew and fellow hunters. Meat is split up between guides and shared with people in need. Nothing is wasted.

    There was a partridge running away from your buck when you first walk up to it also . Doubtful that it’s the same one on the log just seconds later .

    He is a nice one and thought you may have messed up letting the other one go. I think you have proved you can kill one tracking many times over. I have watched you shoot many. When in Rome do as the Roman’s do right. That is just the way they hunt up there. I don’t like hunting over corn piles but in the south that’s one way and hunting over hounds is another. If you never done it you don’t know how it is and I have and it’s not like People think. The deer is running wide open most of the time.

  • @chadbinette3201
    @chadbinette3201 3 месяца назад

    Calm down with the hunting over bait bs, it's a pile of hay and he obviously went to an outfitter. That outfitter probably saves countless deer every year from starving. Going to Saskatchewan isn't like going to Iowa or Kansas , you could literally scout for a week straight in Saskatchewan and not see a single deer. Plus Im pretty sure Maine hunters can't hunt in Canada without a guide just like Canadians can't hunt in Maine without a guide. Might be all us citizens but I'm pretty sure it's definitely for Maine hunters cause people used to hop the border either way and hunt where they shouldn't be.
