Their first collaboration, "What a Fool Believes," was based on McDonald's chastisement of Kenny Loggins for kicking former partner Jim Messina to the curb.

I was 19 when this was filmed in 1993, I was into metal and hard rock. Now as I approach 50, I've discovered the power of smooth music. Girls used to scream and faint when Elvis walked onto the stage. That's how I feel watching Loggins and McDonald sing together in such a beautiful place. Their improvisation together is perfect, along with the instrumentation. When singers and musicians reach this level of mastery, they make it look so easy and natural. I've also seen Loggins freestyling with Daryl Hall. Loggins can vibe with any great musician any time, any place.

This kind of talent has been lost in the "electronic" age of music! I am still loving my 70, 80 and 90"s music!!!!!! And this concert was fabulous!!!!!!

I was 19 when this was filmed in 1993, I was into metal and hard rock. Now as I approach 50, I've discovered the power of smooth music. Girls used to scream and faint when Elvis walked onto the stage. That's how I feel watching Loggins and McDonald sing together in such a beautiful place. Their improvisation together is perfect, along with the instrumentation. When singers and musicians reach this level of mastery, they make it look so easy and natural. I've also seen Loggins freestyling with Daryl Hall. Loggins can vibe with any great musician any time, any place.
Lol.. We're exactly the same, these are the types of music I always skip on the radio frequencies while searching for my metal/ rock songs.. But nowadays , these are the songs I'm struggling to search for, thanks to the internet and youtube
