The recommendation I got a very long time ago was whenever you buy brass screws, buy steel screws with the same thread pitch. Drive the steel screws, back them out, drive the brass screws.
Very beautiful project! Not to be one of those safety hall monitors, but gloves and spinning tools, the jointer especially, can be very bad news. It can be the difference between losing a fingertip and losing most of your hand.
Great project but I kept cringing when I saw you using the table saw the way you did. It’s extremely dangerous to cut a loose piece of wood between the fence without using a block to make a gap between the blade and fence. If you get a kickback it would have twisted and more than likely pulled your hand in.
@@AnesCreates That's not better... between that and the gloves you will be missing digits/hands before you retire. I really recommend taking these suggestions seriously. You already highlighted that things change quickly when not paying close attention (wandering router bit). Not to mention that if you intend to grow and highlight your channel for others it is better to represent safe woodworking.
Voice over spot on. Really enjoyed locking your consent.
On your dovetail theory, I think hand tool's are all about the romance of woodwork. Awesome job
The voice over was just right. 😊

When doing these cuts i was only doing 90% of the cut using the sled, the final 10% i guide the peice using my right hand and pusing agains the fence
